Adler provided a very nice, easy, relaxing and welcoming inclusive stay with a comfortable room, pools, well equipped gym, classes, access to beach, Ebikes, spa/saunas/steam, half board and an on-site hybrid or ECar rental if opting to travel without a car. The staff is stellar, friendly, welcoming, and were a pleasure to meet. As someone who does not plan a trip around a stay-put spa vacation, this was exactly what I was looking for as a health focused reboot. Given the location, Adler is not conducive as a base for exploring the island by car. The resort is impeccably clean, with an interesting eco design throughout that uses stone, wood, glass, natural light, water and is built into and on top of a hillside. Part of the resort is aligned to sunrise, daylight and the other section to sunset. Spa treatment options were varied, reasonably priced and for the most part, excellent. It helps to talk with the spa manager about what you are looking for. The spa seating areas are lovely. At first disappointed in the room options/locations, expecting sea or unencumbered views, I came to appreciate the room location. I liked that resort lighting at night was subtle, as the region is still dark enough to allow a vivid sky. There are a few quirks to be worked out and the menu could use a review. The almost daily upkeep of grounds/lawns, some interior equipment (pool room floor cleaner) and techno gym music noise was disruptive. The hotel presented as more of an adults environment, yet is for all ages. It might be nice to have adults-only blocks of time for the lap pool and heated saltwater pool. The classes are geared around higher levels of existing fitness (e.g., advanced yoga). Given the number of older adults, beginner/gentle level classes, could be a welcome addition. The equipment in the gym/classes was top of line and the daily menu of classes, outdoor activities, optional nearby outings, and the ease of taking out an Ebike was fun. The pastry chef put out a morning/pm mini pastry shop spread that seemed to take precedence. As with another reviewer, I would have liked a more expanded selection and focus on healthier options (salads, wraps, veggie options, non-cream based soups, etc.) and consistency with quality/preparation of dinner main and fish dishes). The fresh orange juice and smoothies were wonderful, as were the infused carafes of water throughout the resort.
