3-Star Hotels in Sibu

Hello My name is acchutanand singh I am An indian staying from past 10 days for qurantine rooms are good but the real problem is that they will charge you even for extra bottle of water i dont know its a staff scam or something midnight there was no drinking water called housekeeping they said they will charge for it as staying locked in a room from past 10 days we were out of cash...we asked for sarawak pay they said only cash...then i requested that will clear it out before check out they refused...i asked for normal water they said they had only mineral water This is 1st time ever i had listen that normal drinking water not avaible only mineral water of 300ml for 3RM and cash only ...even asked for coffee or tea pouch was extra charged... the quantity of food is enough for 14 year old child not for an adult. very poor mangement. At midnight they dont mind if a person is thristy they just deal in cash. Please my advice find some another qurantine center or if you visit later in sibu even with your famliy or friend consider last choice aNy small hotel in india give 500% better service than this. Plus indian got humanity they dont say no for water.

For this recent trip, we’d a pleasant stayed (4x nights) in this lovely, well groomed courtesy staffs, well keep De House Hotel for our Chinese New Year stay. This hotel is near to the ferry point where you can see the cyclists crossing the Rejang river via the ferry. It is a great way to get an excellent view and experience on the ferry while gazing through the beautiful river banks of the river intersection. Apart from that, you can have a morning or evening walk too at the riverside! For the food outlets, there are many choices. It is really convenient and easy access to kopitiam, cafeteria, bakery shop, PapaRich, Sushi King, various bubble tea cafe at a walking distance and even the hotel also have a presentable cafeteria that can caters various people’s choice. For the room functionality, the room comes with electronic devices which you can call for Cleaning up the room and No Disturb services. When we came back to our hotel on the second day afternoon, we noticed that our room has not been tidy up by the housekeeping staff. After verifying, the manager immediately responded to us that we had put up the sign (LED message) of No Disturb and they respect their guest for not making any attempt to cleaning up the room as per request. (Note: It was our fault that we had unintentionally press the message of No Disturb while leaving the room in the morning!) The rooms comes with a hair dryer, a mini fridge and the hot and cold water system is perfectly suit our needs. There is one thing we want to highlight is that the hotel room is bright (three big strong downlighting & two tubes at the back of the bed frame) for reading and doing our work stuffs with a high watts bulbs for many hoteliers offers a more dinner or lower watts bulbs. They even have two different types of lightings offer in the bathroom whereby a very low watts bulb installed acting as a night light💡 which is not glaring but dim and serve well during the night. The toilet seat even comes with an auto wash device! 😀 Surprise!

The hotel looks premium and clean. However, need some update on the lobby decoration. Deluxe King Room. Room condition clean and tidy. Room light ambient subtle but no option for bright light (not ideal for working at night). The bathroom is spacious but hot water temperature level is low. Toiletries is well prepared as well as all the other accessories in the room. Television is the old school type (CRT box tv). Sufficient power plug for charging electrical device. Wifi speed was decent. Room service is just ok. The front office staff was friendly but not helpful. I was not offered a smoking room or non-smoking room during check-in. Unfortunately, I was given a smoking room. My room was stench with cigarettes smokes from other room. When I call room service for enquiry and request for a room change, they did not offer any room nor no apologies. The only answer I get was ”all the room are full”. Overall, the facilities and cleanliness is satisfied. Better hospitality service is much appreciated.

After Kuala Lumpur, I flew directly to Sibu with Air Asia and stayed two nights in Sibu in this hotel. Having prepaid for my stay, for just 43 euros all-in, altogether, for two nights, via a Dutch hotel booking website, back home in Amsterdam before i left for my trip, I was absolutely delighted with my room and actually with my whole stay in the Paramount Hotel. The hotel reception could also get me a Grab car within 5 minutes so i had no complaints whatsoever other than the fact that one or two of the reception staff might probably has/have to brush up his or her spoken English, so as avoid any would-be future misunderstandings with the hotel guests, this being apparently mostly a business travellers hotel (as Sibu apparently has very few tourists!). But the whole reception team was actually mostly very kind and helpful during my stay. Extra bonuses for me were the simply wonderful river view from my room as well as the various new developments right behind this hotel, with quite many trendy and hip restaurants and cafes. For in-house guests, without breakfast being included in the room rate, a good set breakfast (both eastern or western) can be ordered on the same morning, at the cafe next to the reception, for just 18 ringgit all-in per person.

Its a clean hotel, minimalist.has the basic ammenities. Working hot showers. However, low rise rooms has no view.you need to upgrade your room to get a view. nearby to foodcourt and subway rastaurant. A bit further from main town, you need car to walk to town.but great accomodation. The parking is a bit difficult to find if you happen to be there during eating hours.

It is newish hotel, everything was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable, excellent wifi. I have to turn up the the air con as it is working too well make the room too cold. This hotel is just in the middle of the town with walking distance to all the major spots. Super friendly staffs and housekeeping. Overall has a really good stay.

A very affordable hotel with a very low budget spent. Will repeat in the future for real. Place is quite near with the tourist attractions' places. Clean and spacious. Recommended for all the traveller who have a tight budget to stay here.

Stayed here for a quick 3 nights in a very quiet Sibu town. Sibu is now no where near its glory days 20 years ago. Pros: - Location: central in Sibu town and easy access to plenty of good food, to the wharf and other attractions - Staff: friendly, warm and accommodating - Food: probably one of best local food amongst the many hotels in Sarawak - Room: dated but clean & spacious Cons: - Room: very dated and old system for cable TV. Time for an upgrade to attract the younger crowds. Centralize air-conditioning needs refurbishing and update as well. Takes a while to cool down the room. - Hotel - during its hey days - used to have a lounger and bar. Would be nice to this being revived again Overall, a very pleasant stay and my choice of hotel in Sibu

There are restaurant around the hotel but not much. The staff is really nice and welcome. There is iron to borrow. The price is reasonable. Even the type of my room looks quite old but it's comfortable.

I was travelling to Sibu for work and manage to checked in to Win Hotel for few days. After for so many months stop traveling on business trip due to COVID, i finally able to checked in here. The hotel is disinfected every day. The lobby is small but with modern look with waiting area and some sofa provided. Receptionist was quite friendly except when i told them i will be check in later than my actual date, without really taking note of my booking number, they insist that i can’t check in the next day. Had to make a second call to clarify and highlight on my booking number. The room itself is clean, not smelly or carpet smell, with it’s door security is by card accessed. Toilet is clean too with special design on the bathroom glass door. There is no door for the toilet, but you can swing wide the bathroom glass door and become your toilet door. Aircond is cold too. Not a centralised aircond, but a split unit in individual room. Don’t expect much on the tv channels or programs, neither a smart TV. Bed, pillow and comforter is quite new considering this is a new hotel. And it is comfy. I enjoy my stay here and i like the open space design on the hallway or middle of this building. That is why i am attracted to this hotel. Overall, for hotel evaluations i consider this is a very cheap for a 3 stars hotel. Worth of staying both for family trip or business trip. I would stay here again for my next trip to sibu.
