The food was terrible and I don't want to go there again. The bath wasn't as good as I expected. If I had to mention one good point, it was the Japanese garden, which was a relief.

Using the Regional Integrated Subsidy from the Japan Tourism Agency, many parts of the facility have been renovated. The main points are the new open-air bath in the guest room called "Katsura" and the large public bath, and the renovation of the entrance area and dining area. There is a large round window at the entrance, so you can see the proud garden even before entering the lobby. The corridors leading to each guest room have also been repainted a beautiful vermilion color, making the garden stand out even more. I stayed at the newly renovated "Katsura". Previously, there were two 12.5 tatami mat Japanese-style rooms, but they have been completely renovated into a spacious one-room Japanese-Western room. Moreover, it has been made barrier-free and easy for elderly people to use, and it is said to be the most popular room. In addition, the walls, tatami mats, and sashes of "Ayame" and "Wakakusa", which are connected to "Katsura", have also been completely renovated. The newly installed open-air bath is also wonderful. You can now enjoy the hot springs in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery and autumn leaves. In addition, the sashes of the detached buildings "Fuji" and "Hagi" have been replaced with alpla sashes, which have improved insulation and made it more comfortable to stay in.
