Urine around the pan of the toilet on arrival. Not properly cleaned. One chair in room located directly under the clothes rail. Might as well have been no window in the room as it provided no sound proofing whatsoever from a busy road. The name suits it well. Be prepared to walk sideways around much of the room as it was very small indeed.

Very disappointing. Our room was basic, un-ironed bedding, dirty floor in shower, had to straddle the toilet to clean our teeth. Everything was grime The window was wide open in our room when we arrived , which was at 10.30 PM, and there was no heating on. We went downstairs to ask them to put it on, and they did - for about half an hour! We were freezing, and couldn’t sleep because we were so cold. £140 per night with no breakfast provided was a rip-off. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, and won’t be going there again. Never actually met the landlord - everything was done by phone. Payment was taken as soon as we arrived which is probably in case we refused to pay the price when we left.

The bar is really good and so is the staff! If you want a good old fashioned pint with good music then come on down! A welcoming atmosphere with a friendly clientele, you’ll feel more than welcome here. The choice of drinks is excellent and the music is to the liking of each patriot.
