Hotels Near Toko-ji Temple in Shizuoka

I only had a place to stay at a reasonable price on a sudden business trip, and I saw the word of mouth that it smelled on the hotel reservation site, but I booked it as better than overseas hotels. It was a room of about 2DK when I was told at check-in that there was only a large room. It was old and dusty, and the toilet cleaning was appropriate and above all, the smell of sewage was full, and I was worried about whether I could spend a day. Even if I turned all the ventilation fans in the bathroom, toilet and kitchen, I couldn't get this smell and closed the partition of the bedroom which was still better and stayed at night. It is a very unpleasant stay and a business trip that requires a sudden stay, and if there is only an inn here, I think it would be better to go to a different station and stay. One good thing is that there is a tuna specialty store called Shimizu Port Minami, which is popular for tourists, next door. I will never stay again as I say many times. I stayed at such a smelly hotel for the first time.

The Associa Hotel in Shizuoka is a chain hotel with many people. It is clean, but some facilities are a little old. However, the price is reasonable and Mount Fuji is only a 2-hour drive away. It is really good!

Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

The hotel has a very good location, very close to the JR station and surrounded by convenience stores. The room is not small for a Japanese hotel. The facilities are relatively old, but it is very clean and comfortable to live in.

It was a short walk to Shizuoka Station ３ minutes. I changed my upper shoes in the lobby. There were about 5 shower rooms and it was clean. The bathroom on each floor was also available.

While there are many hotels that only use sterilization, the inside of the building and rooms are all antibacterial. I think it's more important than looking pretty. There is an automatic coffee machine in the cafe on the first floor, and a variety of cold drinks are available in addition to the automatic coffee machine in the lounge on the second floor. The food service (limited quantities) from 5:30pm includes authentic curry and salad (from the pesticide-free 808 Factory). The hot spring SPA can be used from check-in 3pm to 10am the next morning. The sauna is an automatic Roryu iki stove. The breakfast is far beyond what you would expect from a business hotel. All of the food was of high quality, and I was surprised that they even had crema coffee. A high-grade hotel with a view of Mt. Fuji even for singles (cannot be specified).

The room is very clean and well-equipped. The hotel breakfast is good with many choices, including Otono and local specialties. The hotel is very close to the commercial street, and the surrounding food, clothing, housing, transportation and shopping are convenient. It is worth staying again.

By the way, I used it after 18:00, but I'm already using it alone. At most, there are about 3 people, so take a bath while paying attention. However, I was able to relax a little after one came out, so I think it was better than taking a room bath. I ate the breakfast buffet for the first time, but it was renovated and beautiful, and I think the price was good for 700 yen, but the chair is a stool on a counter table like McDonald's, so it's good for a light meal. But it's not like enjoying the buffet slowly. Also, I was happy that there was a homemade pudding made in a small bottle, but I couldn't eat all the bottom because there was no small spoon for dessert (laughs). The set may be better. Also, it is a negative point for me that the windows in the room are not open. In conclusion, although the room rate is cheap, is it a large communal bath of the population hot spring? With! ?? There is a drink service and there is no discomfort in the hotel itself, so I don't think the overall evaluation is bad, but it is still a difficulty that it is quite far from the station. Since Ichiou is a population hot spring, I felt that the satisfaction would be better if I paid 500 yen per person for 45 minutes by charter reservation system (in that case, I would like to have a morning at a nice cafe in Hitoshuku Town even if it is far away, so stay again I want to do it.

It is a hotel that can overlook Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay at Hotel Ambia Matsukaze, but this time it was a pity that it was not blessed with the weather. It is a beautiful and splendid hotel with several wedding venues. All rooms or ocean view can see the Izu Peninsula from Mt. Fuji far away. The bath was not a bath and it was a gentle hot water with a thick salt concentration in the hot water of Kuroshio Onsen. The open air, inner bath and washing stripping area were clean and comfortable. Dinner was a venue meal in a fairly large hall that became a wedding hall. It was a two-part system of 17:45 and 19:30, and it was a high plan, so I was quite expecting it to be a party dish, and it was an ordinary inn meal (tempura, tea bowl steaming, etc.). The tuna of sashimi was delicious. Alcohol is high, wine, shochu, and sake are full bottles of 4400 yen. All drinks are 1650 yen, and all tables must be asked, so we decided to drink all. Breakfast was a Japanese meal (partial Vikings such as drinks) that should be a Viking at a different venue. There were a number of items, but it was an ordinary Japanese meal.
