It was inconvenient to eat while looking at the monitor, but it was stylish, so it was OK. In addition to the electric kettle in the room, the drink bar was also good. Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

I didn't chose the hotel but I loved it. Location was great, very convenient for the station, room was fine, front desk staff were kind and thoughtful. Enjoyed a better than average breakfast, included in the room rate. The whole experience was much more ”boutique” than ”chain” hotel. But the real glory of the place is the privileged access to the former daimyo's garden next door. Each morning at breakfast, the waitstaff encouraged me to step outside into the garden. On the third morning, I finally did it. What a lovely place! Japanese aesthetics at their best. And I had it all to myself. Would have been worth staying here just for the garden, but like I said, the hotel was good, too.

In the evening, you can get any drink you want for free at the restaurant during happy hour until 8 p.m. I got a glass of nama biru (draft beer). For reference, the rental car parking fee is 1,200 yen per day for the parking tower, but if you want to leave, you can leave the parking tower within 5 minutes. It was a small hotel, but the location and service were satisfactory.

Since I had refrained from traveling during the summer due to the coronavirus, I went to Yaizu for the first time in 5 years since July 2018. I did. We arrived at the hotel early and swam in the pool until 3:00 p.m. when we got into our room, but the only way to access the pool was by a small cable car. Children are very happy with it, and at the same time, it is gentle and a favorite for even a disabled grandpa. However, the last time I visited, the air conditioning inside the cable car was working properly, but it seemed to be malfunctioning and the inside of the cable car was in a steaming bath. (Well, the ride time is only 2-3 minutes, so it's not a problem.) The sea view from the room and the delicious dinner remain the same. Although I arrived in the heat of the day, the parking lot staff welcomed me at the entrance with a smile, and the front desk staff always greeted me with a smile...I was really taken care of by the staff, and I think it's a comfortable resort hotel. . The hotel staff were very nice to direct us to the carpark that we could park at. They were able to communicate in English. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Carpark charges is at 1100 yen. Quite affordable.

When I stayed for the first time in several years because of the renewal this time, the usage time was only two hours in the morning and night by the men and women replacement system. This cannot be used unless the time is adjusted, and it is small even if it is a large communal bath. There were only two locker keys. By the way, I used it after 18:00, but I'm already using it alone. At most, there are about 3 people, so take a bath while paying attention. However, I was able to relax a little after one came out, so I think it was better than taking a room bath. I ate the breakfast buffet for the first time, but it was renovated and beautiful, and I think the price was good for 700 yen, but the chair is a stool on a counter table like McDonald's, so it's good for a light meal. But it's not like enjoying the buffet slowly. Also, I was happy that there was a homemade pudding made in a small bottle, but I couldn't eat all the bottom because there was no small spoon for dessert (laughs). The set may be better. Also, it is a negative point for me that the windows in the room are not open. In conclusion, although the room rate is cheap, is it a large communal bath of the population hot spring? With! ?? There is a drink service and there is no discomfort in the hotel itself, so I don't think the overall evaluation is bad, but it is still a difficulty that it is quite far from the station. Since Ichiou is a population hot spring, I felt that the satisfaction would be better if I paid 500 yen per person for 45 minutes by charter reservation system (in that case, I would like to have a morning at a nice cafe in Hitoshuku Town even if it is far away, so stay again I want to do it.
