I could not sleep at all because no soundproof at all I could hear snoring loudly and 2-3Japanese came around 4am. They kept made noise by talking in the room and coming in and out repeatedly.
I will never come this hotel again.

To my regret, should have booked ALL my nights in Shizuoka with this place. Because of some of the negative reviews online, I was sceptical and worried thus didn’t wanna put all eggs in one basket. But the worry was totally unnecessary.
Given the price, a fair comparison should be a dormitory styled hostel, and this place far exceeds any of the capsule hotels/dorm hostels I’ve been to (I’ve booked around 50 in Japan by now).
First, it has its own room and bed, privacy +1.
Second, it has its own large locker in the room (not as large as the largest suitcase, but more than enough to keep valuables and clothes), convenience +1.
Third, COMFY bed with incredibly thick foam support and super-single kinda width, sleep quality +1.
Fourth, the shower room area is ultra spacious and brightly illuminated, with close to 10 counters (and chairs), you can take your time taking care of your hygiene and facial breakouts at your own pace.
Fifth, it has a partner cafe (hug coffee) two doors next to it and the breakfast and/or drink coupons it offers could save you quite some money compared to walk in yourself.
The list could go on when you compare it to other hostels in the town (instead of hotels in another price range)
Given, the door of the room cannot be locked, and there could be a chance of hearing noise from other rooms, but these are common issues across all hostel settings, and it’s more of the travellers issue than the place.
So overall, I must say this is a place of very high value. I’ll almost always stay in this place if I’m to pass by Shizuoka again in the future.

Great hotel for someone on a budget. Super clean and convenient. Very nice and caring staff. The only downside is that the walls are super thin so you can hear every single movement of the person in the next room. Still, would come back.

Very nice hotel. It's only 5 mins walk from Shizuoka station. The room is clean and comfortable. Easily get food in or outside the hotel. The receptionist is very friendly.

If you are traveling alone, this is a good place to stay.
It is a compact private room with a luxury capsule, so I am very satisfied.
It is very friendly and clean, so there is no reason not to use it again.

I wanted to stay cheaply, but I thought a capsule hotel would be too cramped, so this hotel with mostly private rooms was great.
You can't enter the women's floor without a card key, so it was safe.
All the amenities I needed were provided, so I was grateful I could stay empty-handed.
I'd like to use this again when I visit Shizuoka.
