Hotel Route-Inn Shimizu Inter

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. As soon as I checked in, I was able to relax in the large public bath! It was late in the day, so there weren't many other guests, and I was able to relax pretty much by myself. Breakfast was also a buffet. I enjoyed it for 2 days. The room was clean and comfortable. I'd like to stay here again.

It feels like a typical business hotel. It is clean and has everything you need. I was happy that the welcome coffee was decaffeinated and available until midnight. The location is less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Shizuoka's famous drinking spots, Aoba Yokocho and Aoba Oden Town, are about a 2-minute walk away, so tourists will be satisfied. There is a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which is convenient. In order to prevent the use of adult entertainment in the hotel, the elevator always stops at the front desk on the second floor. It may seem inconvenient, but I think families with children and female guests can stay here with peace of mind. The WiFi speed was fast enough that I was able to use it comfortably for online meetings and watching entertainment.

The front desk service is very good. There is free curry rice and rice noodles during the happy hour in the evening. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. It is less than ten minutes' walk from the Surugaya main store, which is very suitable for eating valley

The location is close to the station and the facilities are clean. I didn't eat breakfast, but they provide a buffet of bread from a famous local bakery. The amenities are plentiful. I especially liked the bath salts ^^ However, although the location is good, if you are visiting Shizuoka for the first time, If you try to find the crosswalk without crossing the subway, you will have to go around a bit. And there is only one elevator, You cannot use the stairs. It is on the 2nd floor, but the lobby is right below, so it is difficult to wait for the elevator that stops on the 11th floor and keep going back and forth. I don't think it matters if you are not on the 2nd floor. The hotel is good value for money.

There is a railroad crossing near the station. The child was happy because I could see the train. The pork bowl and Shizuoka Oden of the night meal were delicious. There are many types of tuna for breakfast, salad, bread, yogurt, etc. It was good that there were four families in one room and the bed was also large.

Excellent location within walking distance to major tourist locations and shopping and dining districts as well as public transports. Carpark is available across the road at 1100 Yen for 24 hours. I chose room with breakfast for 2 and it is well value for money. The spa, though small, but is well kept and much undertilized. In fact, I am the only one using the spa. Environment, services and facilities are all up to good standards. Guests can also have free access to the coffee and soft drinks machine around the clock.
