"The location of the hotel is not very convenient. There are no good transportation facilities, supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. You need to walk for a while to reach the bus station and restaurants. The hotel's front desk clerk was very nice, but the hotel did not provide comprehensive equipment, such as slippers and hairdryers."

"Everything was very good food, staff , room etc I would have given it an even better score but I object to paying for car parking."

"Another successful stay here . It’s a super little place if you need to be Solihull area,  Super lovely staff who are always helpful with a smile ,it is very clean comfortable beds . It is an old building but well maintained by the team so if you want luxury maybe look elsewhere but the price is a reflection of this . I am well travelled but have no problem with this lodge and have stayed several times in recent months and been very happy ,infact its popularity means you sometimes a cannot make a reservation . So that speaks for itself . "

"We enjoyed our brief overnight stay at this hotel. It is well positioned in walking distance of the Touchwood shopping centre with ample parking. The hotel room was comfortable and unique. Not with the typical decor and layout that we have seen in others. They clearly have their own vision in terms of how their rooms are laid out the sizes etc. We had breakfast brought up to our room, which we ordered the night before. It was nice with generous helpings and the food was hot on arrival. I used the gym, which was small but more than adequate. Overall very satisfied and would recommend and stay again."

"Very warm welcome and everything as it should be. Swift service both at the hotel and Beefeater next door. Good location for motorway but it’s not in Solihull- it’s in Shirley which is a distance from Solihull itself. No problem to us though. "
