"The scenery of the hotel is really good. The Sanjiaotang has an outdoor part, where you can enjoy the lake view while taking a bath. It would be even better if it snowed. Moreover, there are not many rooms in the hotel. Even if it is full, there are few people in the hot spring, and the privacy is very good! The room I booked this time has a private hot spring, but the waiter did not explain in detail how to use it when introducing the room, such as how to use the heating equipment and how to open the window. I hope the details can be better and more thoughtful. The food in the hotel tastes OK, but the ingredients are relatively simple. In general, it is a place with few people and beautiful scenery, where you can enjoy the hot springs, but the price is relatively not so cost-effective."

Was the meal Western at the counter, or is the dish made of fresh local ingredients a little more for the elderly?

"This review is for accomodation at BASE SHIRAOI at 199-327 Kitayoshihara, Shiraoi, Shiraoi District, Hokkaido 059-0923, Japan.
We were told to change to BASE SHIRAOI on the day of checking in due to paint smell at Manyi's Onsen House.
BASE SHIRAOI has everything we need. There are soy sauce, coffee beans, and wasabi, The host has even prepared child toilet seat and sanitary pads! LOL.
The unit is air-conditioned. We still used it though it was around 18 degrees during the night because we didn't want to open the windows.
Washing machine and dryer.
The unit has a dinning table and a big coffee table. A table outside the house good for BBQ.
You can dry your clothes at the entrance area, designed to hang big winter clothes.
The only issue is the private onsen and shower area that is not so private. The neighbor could potentially see you in your best naked shape through the transparent glass roof. We covered the glass window in the shower area with the styrofoam covers for the onsen. LOL.
Convenient stores are about 3 minutes.
Overall stay is enjoyable as the unit is big enough for 10 people. Quiet environment. Enough space to park few cars outside the house."

KKesitesaixiaoyiThe hotel is located by the sea, which is a bit inconvenient to travel, but it can provide pick-up and drop-off services. Hot springs are independent and need to be booked one day in advance. There are free drinks and snacks in the lobby before 9 o'clock. It is great to eat while enjoying the scenery. The room is large and special shoes and toiletries will be prepared for children. It is very suitable for parent-child travel

TTheresamomoThe hotel rooms are spacious, the place is clean, and the facilities are complete. There are indoor and outdoor facilities and massage hot springs. The restaurant in the hotel is open until 9 o'clock. The food is reasonably priced and of good quality. The only thing is that it is noisy when the train passes by outside the room, but overall it is a good hotel!

GGuest UserThis hotel is a very traditional Japanese-style guesthouse. What did we say? We went from Hell Valley to take the bus to jr. Noboribetsu, Ctrip helped to contact the pick-up service. After the bus came down, I saw the hotel staff holding my mom. The name is a small card. The staff do n’t take much luggage to drive to the hotel at two o'clock. We arrived early and waited a while. Sitting in the lobby and watching the view was very comfortable. We are on the first floor of the Mountain View Room 111. You can see the sea view. I did n’t have enough dinner to add white old cow. I did n’t have enough to eat this cow. It is not recommended to add taste. Generally it is not cheap. The price is not high. The hot spring is good. You can see the sea. There is parking lot. Check out the next day. It took me all the way downhill to come back from the seaside. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member who took us to the airport bus station. This staff member took us very carefully and checked the station sign to confirm that we were reminded to take the airport line. Generally, it is not near by car. It is better to choose it. This hotel hot spring is open to the public, but not many people. Soundproof but quiet at night

GGuest UserIt's an old onsen hotel refurbished. Renovation is classic, in 1980s style. Overall clean and tidy. Note there is no shower in room, only toilet and wash basin. You need to go to ground floor public bath for shower and onsen. There isn't many options in Shiraoi town for accommodation. (Understand there's smaller Airbnb type of places available but mostly in japanese language for booking) Probably this is a more generic hotel available.
