I was glad that the hot springs in the large public bath were thicker than other Shirako hot springs. 毎年 夏になると、色々な学校が、テニスなどの合宿で利用しているので、宿泊の際には、早めの予約が必要です。 「白子」は九十久里浜でも、多くのテニス・コートがあるので、このホテルも合宿にはちょうど良いのかも・・・料理もおいしいし、海も近いので、けっこう人気のホテルで、とくに屋上にある露天風呂が人気です。 夜になると、綺麗な星たちも見えるし、その割には宿泊費が安めなのも人気の１つかも知れません。 ホテルで働いている人たちも親切でした。

施設は古いです。 ドアが引き戸だったり、 清潔ですが、建物のいろんなつくりに古さを感じます。 でも、そのためかお値段とってもリーズナブル。 週末に1万円ちょっとで一人で泊まれて、 温泉に入れて、2食付き。 これで、一体なんの不満があろうか？ まず、温泉のお湯がとてもいいです。 全国的にもめずらしいヨウ素が入ったお風呂で、つるつるになりますし、温度もちょうどよく、長く浸かっていられます。 食事も、ザ・旅館の定番といったメニューながら、鯵のさんが焼きなど、千葉県らしいメニューもとりいれていて、おいしかった。 満足です。 バス停から徒歩2分、セブンイレブンも近くて、車がなくても便利です。 海までは徒歩で5分くらい。 お天気があまりよくなかったので、意外にも荒々しい九十九里の海を眺めることになりましたが、波をずっと見てて飽きなかった。 まわりのホテルなんかも見てみると、 建物が傷んでいて寂れた感じはあります。 この先、ここら辺の温泉は、どれくらいもつんだろう、と心配になります。 でも、これだけ良い泉質の温泉、この先も守って欲しいな…と思いました。
