overall this resort really for a relaxing holiday and to enjoy the beauty of shirakawa. But due to limited accessibility of transportation, suggest to have more frequency of shuttle service since the location is consider rural . The service of resort need to improve as they are not really go for extra miles. other than that, nice view , great ramen at night and great Onsen.

The Japanese-style room is very small to sleep on tatami, the bathroom is shared, but it is very clean, there is an outdoor hot spring, the scenery is beautiful, dinner and breakfast are very ritual, a pleasant experience

I used it when I traveled to HIDA that I wanted to go before. I moved about 350 ㌔ from Osaka to HIDA Furukawa by car. It is a little far from the center of the city (Furukawa CHO), but it arrives without fatigue only by the easy road. The public bath (inner bath and open air) in the building was comfortable, and I enjoyed it four times at night and the next morning. This public bath was able to choose the shampoo and rinse of each preference. I was not happy with the public bath, but my wife was happy. There were local vegetables sold in the public bath that I used on the arrival day, and I bought a red-ripe tomato. I was called at the parking lot to the local who was watching it, and I was surprised to have a large pumpkin. I was glad to have that kind heart. This time, along with inn, meals and baths, I was able to touch the kindness of such locals and had a good trip as a total.
