Very cute coach inn in the lovely quiet village Shipton Moyne. It’s a very short drive to the larger village of Tetbury for shopping.

Stayed one night at this amazing place wished we could have stayed longer. We dined in restaurant the food was excellent hubby had ribeye steak and I tried the belly pork with crushed potatoes leeks and apple sauce and cider which was the most delightful plate of food I’ve had in a long time the staff were very helpful and the breakfast very good would definitely recommend this establishment you will not be disappointed

Very friendly staff, warm cosy pub environment with good beer. Restaurant food was exceptional. Room and en-suite a good size and very comfortable (Home Guard). Breakfast quality outstanding with local produce. Would definitely stay again.

After coming for a delicious Sunday lunch last year we knew we wanted to come back again for a relaxing night away without our kids. The Cat and Custard Pot is a charming historic venue in a pretty little village with lots of character. The roast beef was excellent and it was lovely to chill for the rest of the evening in the pub. Our room was light, clean and nicely furnished and we had a peaceful night, followed by a tasty breakfast the next morning. Overall good value for a relaxing night away in the countryside, we'll be back again.

Our room was beautiful, with a massive bathroom and roll top bath, however…. For our 2 night stay we had no heating. Luckily it wasn’t too cold in February, but would have been nicer if the room was a bit warmer for me.
Breakfast was outstanding and the chef knocked up a proper English breakfast.
One older lady who served us breakfast one morning was a little highly strung / panic mode and was more worried about bookings. Which left us all a bit tense after breakfast, but the next day a young man served us and he was relaxed and calm, which made for a lovely breakfast.
I would definitely stay again, great bar staff. We went for a wedding nearby and booking staff helped us get taxis and were so super helpful and friendly.
