We had some problems getting to the hotel, as Google maps insisted on pointing us to another deserted building down the street (which also had a sign Takasago onsen). Since you are traveling by car, you don’t have to be near public transportation. But the location of the hotel is pretty good. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the famous Genghis Khan Barbeque for dinner. This is a log hotel maple lodge in 183, Moyo Town, suburbs of Iwamizawa City, and used it in a pack of day trip bathing ＋ lunch. The building is a log house-style building with high ceilings, bright and jazz. The hot springs have an indoor bath of ２ (41 ℃ and 42 ℃), an open-air bath (41 ℃) and a cold bath sauna. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, and they are heated, but they don't seem to be watered, and they have a little 々 slimy feeling, and the body warms up. The sauna is Finnish and I enjoyed it because I could sprinkle water at my favorite timing. It was a holiday, but I was able to take a bath slowly with moderate crowding.
