Although Shanyin itself is a relatively low consumption place, it is incredible that 20,000 yen can eat and stay for two people... I believe many passengers who get off at Yue are going to Tangcun Hot Springs but I think it's totally possible to stay here without going back there (close to the station) for the night, and I highly recommend staying here for friends who don't have to ask for a private bathroom. This hotel is amazing.
