I checked in at 15:30, but there were already 20 people in line, and at the time of the reception, most of the meal times were full and I could only eat after 19:00.
There seems to be a system where each person writes on a poster near the front desk about bathing, but during the good hours before dinner, the large bath is full and only the small ba*****t bath can be entered.
Considering the recent corona misfortune, it seems that it is a plan not to be crowded, but what is it like to be crowded in line at check-in?
The facilities are also old, and the water from the washroom in the room WC is dripping and does not stop.
If you know the former Miyoshiya, you will be disappointed.

Such a nice place! Very relaxing onsen.
My partner and I went there for one night, the room is very nice with it's own seating area (two chairs and a table) by the window.
There are yukata's by the entrance where you can pick one out and use during your visit (I totally wanted to bring one with me home, but didn't of course)
There is ping-pong included, just write your name down at the time slot you want to play. Parking's included.
There's also Karaoke but it cost a bit.
We only had time to talk to the night staff, there was one man who was so so nice, I wish I had gotten his name to write in the reference!

The dinner buffet exceeded our expectations. In particular, the bamboo steamer was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, including turban shells, pork, and vegetables. However, the venue was small, the tables were close to each other, and there were three shifts during dinner time, so it was disappointing that we couldn't enjoy our meal at our leisure. To get to the open-air bath, you have to climb a long staircase, but it's in the middle of the forest and has a sense of openness, so it's worth the effort. The large public bath was also great. We stayed in a spacious two-room Japanese-style room for four people, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time.

A pleasant resort inn in Yumura Onsen. Reasonably priced, it is popular with families. It is used for day trips. The indoor bath and open-air bath from the former Miyoshiya are used as they are, and the hot spring has a nice a**osphere. However, water is added, circulation is combined, and chlorine is used. There is a slight chlorine smell.

The room is nice and clean, but the smartphone signal is poor. There is Wi-Fi, but it is too weak in the room to be of any use. If you need Wi-Fi, you have to use it in the lobby on the first floor. You can't expect a good communication environment. There is a large public bath and an open-air bath, but the large public bath is a simple one with a large bathtub.
