Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Miyoshiya (Old:Yukai Resort Premium Miyoshiya)

I checked in at 15:30, but there were already 20 people in line, and at the time of the reception, most of the meal times were full and I could only eat after 19:00. There seems to be a system where each person writes on a poster near the front desk about bathing, but during the good hours before dinner, the large bath is full and only the small basement bath can be entered. Considering the recent corona misfortune, it seems that it is a plan not to be crowded, but what is it like to be crowded in line at check-in? The facilities are also old, and the water from the washroom in the room WC is dripping and does not stop. If you know the former Miyoshiya, you will be disappointed. Employee response was positive

This was my first time staying at Oedo Onsen Monogatari since it changed from Yukai Resort to Oedo Onsen Monogatari. To be honest, I think the service has deteriorated compared to Yukai Resort. At Yukai Resort, check-out was at 12 noon, so you could relax, but at Oedo Onsen Monogatari, check-out is at 11am and morning bath use is limited to 10am.

We were able to get a great deal on a limited-time, reasonable price plus a 2,000 yen birthday discount. Typical of Yukai Resort? The exterior and some of the facilities look old, but the entrance and rooms were clean. Despite the reasonable plan, the room was spacious and relaxing. The hot spring seemed a little small for a large hotel, but the forest open-air bath was quiet and we were able to bathe in a relaxed atmosphere. However, it is quite far from the large public bath, so it may be difficult for some people. Please note that the washing area is not located in the open-air bath. There was a sufficient selection of food, and the seasoning was good. There were no particular issues with the staff's service.

The dinner buffet exceeded our expectations. In particular, the bamboo steamer was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, including turban shells, pork, and vegetables. However, the venue was small, the tables were close to each other, and there were three shifts during dinner time, so it was disappointing that we couldn't enjoy our meal at our leisure. To get to the open-air bath, you have to climb a long staircase, but it's in the middle of the forest and has a sense of openness, so it's worth the effort. The large public bath was also great. We stayed in a spacious two-room Japanese-style room for four people, so we were able to relax and enjoy our time.
