The room is large for us to open and pack our luggage in preparing to depart airport the next day.
The room facilities are convenient (without stairs) to suit my usage as a person with walking difficulties.
I especially love the ensuite onsen bath with beautiful ocean view.
The dinner and breakfast are delicious."

"The room is good, you can overlook the Guanmen Strait Bridge (part of it), close to the entrance and exit of the Guanmen Strait Tunnel, it is more convenient to go to the closed department. There is a hot spring bath, relieve fatigue, and the staff is warm and thoughtful. Breakfast is rich and delicious, and there is free beer ice cream 🍺🍦"

"Overall very satisfied with a stay
The hotel is conveniently located near the Guanmen Strait Bridge and the pedestrian tunnel. There is a 10-way terminal at the entrance of the hotel (although there are few shifts).
Rich dining, dinner in addition to the banquet, there are some fruit snacks that can be buffeted, etc.
The scenery is great, sitting on the balcony and watching the sea view is very good, the outlook of the big bath and the open-air view are also very good, and there have been very few people in the bath.
Overall very recommended!"

"Although the design of the hotel is relatively simple and old, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a bus nearby to go to Karato Market the next day👍🏻I appreciate the friendly attitude of the front counter staff, who also tried their best to communicate with us in English and a translator. GGuest UserThis was a good option if you want to visit the fish market and walk through the underground pedestrian tunnel. It is located near the metro and a bus station is located out front that will take you to the locations. A mall is located next to the hotel which has plenty of eating options. Room was small but very clean. Very helpful front desk. Good option.

DDamaituEverything is good. The hotel has complete service facilities, including a laundry room. I finally washed and dried the clothes from the previous week. It is a little far from JR Shimonoseki Station. After exiting Shimonoseki Station, walk to the second-floor overpass until you get off the vertical elevator at the end and turn right at the next intersection. There is a local supermarket across the road on the right side of the hotel, which is quite rich. The night-time ramen 🍜 of the hotel is quite good.

There are many shops nearby, including Shimonoseki Station.
The overpass is also very convenient.
The surrounding area is quiet, so it's quiet at night.
The breakfast is very clean and tidy.
The bedding is well-made.
It's nice that shampoo, conditioner, and body cleanser are all provided.
They even provide a free toothbrush.

CCurious TravellerUnbeatable location with many rooms ( or all rooms) and public spaces facing Tsunoshima Bridge. Our room faced the ocean directly with no obstruction. The bath was also quite decent and the outdoor bath is next to the sea. You can enjoy the sound of the waves while bathing in the hot spa. It should be quite spectacular during sunset. The spa was probably renovated within the last 10 years as it was in good condition.
The room , however, felt old and the corridor was damp. The carpet in the room felt damp and the room felt stuffy. The AC worked well and we turned it on high. Our triple room as spacious but I felt itchy the whole night while sleeping- although the sheets looked clean ( I slept on the added bed). The other two beds looked slumped in the middle.
Bathroom also looked quite old( from the 70’s)?
My room was at the far end wing and there were lots of stairs to walk up and down from the front desk which was on the third floor. The staff will help to bring the luggages to your room ( also at check out - just call).
Hotel restaurant serves dinner buffet . If you are not interested, the hotel also has a list of restaurants nearby with 10-30 minutes drive. We drove out to have yakitori in a small down, which was very local, but with friendly owner, good food- and super cheap price ( each yakitori was about ¥120-150 yen.
Breakfast buffet has both Japanese and western offers, taste was average. Overall service was very good.

GGuest UserSmile Hotel Shimonoseki is right next to the JR station. Walk to the right and follow the station for two minutes. The JR station building is also the Daimaru Shopping Center. From the basement to the fourth floor are shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. Buses 1 to 4 go to Karato Market. The seafood restaurants in Karato Market sell cheap salmon sashimi. Shimonoseki is a historic place and worth a visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very old, perhaps because it is an old building. The tickets are old. Breakfast is free, but only bread and coffee are provided. The counter staff is very friendly. Still, it's okay because it's cheap. I've attached a photo of the breakfast.

MMushN地點位於山區內，自行一角，如冇揸車去比較困難。到步後由於訂房時預計會觀光時間較長，所以沒有預訂晚餐，最後提早到達，但附近沒有餐廳，要到20分鐘車程town食晚飯，因禍得福，食到間好味地道居酒屋。
每位職員都好有禮貌，好好笑容，門外亦有寫上住客姓名，感覺好被受尊重。
酒店應該比較有歷史，走廊位置地板有污漬。溫泉好好，硫磺味唔重，但風景一流，早晚男女會調，可以試兩邊溫泉。
流動數據弱，可以好好享受山內既溫泉👍🏻
