What a wonderful place to stay even in the low season. All the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and with everything I could have needed. The meals were excellent and really tasty. The fish was cooked beautifully, the breakfast was larger and very tasty.

Don’t assume that having a confirmed booking at this lodging will mean that they will have a room for you ! Extremely disappointing to be turned away after 4 hour journey . From what we saw of the place not sure it’s worth the drive. Avoid . Be warned !

I went with Kenyan friends for a few dives at the marine park, using the lodge as a base. A bit hard to find but ask the locals or use google map not that difficult. Its basic but cosy and staff are very friendly. Nice chalet style rooms and a pool, good bar and restaurant. A/C in the room. shower water a bit saline (well you wanted a spa!). Jonathan the manager is a great and knowledgeable host. Cold beer wines and spirits.

Shimoni Reef Lodge is a magnificent hotel, located in an ideal place, especially if you are a snorkeling lover or fleeing places that are overcrowded by tourism. Although the hotel needs some improvements, such as more water pressure in the showers or renewal of sheets, it is worth highlighting its cleanliness and, above all, the kindness and dedication offered by its employees. We have stayed 4 nights, and the service offered is excellent... highlighting the professionalism and prudence of the waiters, the exquisite and abundant food that the chef offered us every day as well as the kindness of the reception, pool and cleaning staff. Shimoni Reef Lodge is 100% recommended.
