I went there for a day trip without staying overnight. It's a great spot for taking photos, but unfortunately there's nothing around and it's a bit far to go there. If you don't stay overnight, you will need to pay an entrance fee. I stayed there on January 2nd. It was full of guests. You can stay in a Mediterranean (or Greek) style building. The tiles used are Portuguese style.
