Fukujyuso

Thank you for your help for the first time in more than 20 years. A few days before the stay, I received a confirmation call for transportation and arrival time, and kindly told me various things. On the day of the event, the attendant who saw the parking lot advised me to carry my family and luggage to the dock first, which was very helpful. The building itself feels old, but it was well maintained and comfortable. The food was voluminous at night and in the morning, and it was delicious. However, children in the lower grades of elementary school basically have the same dishes as adults, and it is good if it is in the upper grades, but the food that can be eaten in the lower grades is limited, and I think it is painful for children. Other than that, I am very satisfied. I would like to take care of you again. Thank you very much.
Hiogiso

Hiogiso is our best memory in Japan where we stayed for 3 weeks. We loved the place, the meals, the kindness of the staff, who really took care of us and were so smiley. We slept well, the room was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The view was also incredible. The establishment is on the water so there are lots of crabs coming and going outside, it's lovely. The meals were incredible. We really enjoyed the sunset boat trip with the owner of the establishment. A charming, very classy man who spoke English quite well. We regret not having stayed longer because there are many places to visit around. Maybe next time...
Quintessa Hotel Iseshima

The hotel is still some distance from the station, mainly because there are almost no pedestrians along the way, and it is best to take a taxi with luggage. In terms of environment, facilities and sanitation, this price is still reasonable. There are supermarkets and すき homes nearby, and it is no problem to fill your stomach. It is also recommended to take a taxi to Hengshan Observatory. The whole road is 3km away. There is a strange walk. Wi-Fi is very unstable and almost can be considered as no Wi-Fi
Kashikojima no Yado Michishio

The most satisfactory hotel in this trip is also the most cost-effective hotel! The location of the hotel is just a few minutes walk along the beach after exiting Kintetsu Kenjima Station, but you need to go uphill (the lobby of the hotel is on the second floor). Friends with a lot of luggage can ask the hotel to pick you up by car. Surprisingly, the hotel actually gave me, a single traveler, a Japanese-style suite! Including a living room and a bedroom, there is a dry landscape in the house! I ordered breakfast and dinner at the front desk. Dinner is 4,500 yen, and breakfast is 1,800 yen. They are all banquet dishes! The only problem is that the breakfasts for both days are the same, and I was charged an extra for a bottle of beer because I rushed away in the morning and didn't find it. This is a pity!
Haifu
4.5/55 Reviews
My trip this time was a family trip with four family members. I have visited Mie Prefecture several times in the past, but it was the first time I went to Shima because I stayed at Toba and the difference every time. I chose ”Haifu” with an open-air bath with an ocean view guest room in all rooms on a remote island called Watanabe Island. In fact, this ”Haifu” was an inn that I was very worried about when I stayed in Mie Prefecture in the past and looked at other accommodations. However, I didn't make a reservation because I thought it was a little far to go to Shima, so I chose the place of stay this time. It was such a long-awaited ”yes”, but in conclusion, it was a great answer to stay! First, when you arrive at the parking lot of the inn, you will be guided to the nearby dock, from which you will board a dedicated ferry and head to the inn on the remote island on the opposite bank. At this point, there was a feeling of excitement that was not found in other inns, and the children were very happy. The whole facility was very beautiful, and there was a large bath between the sister inn called fukujuso next door, but the corridor connecting the two was very elegant, and there was a beautiful garden and a very good atmosphere. Also, this time I stayed in a 12.5 tatami room, but the room was large and I was able to spend very clean and comfortable. You can see the sea from the room, and there is a private open-air bath with a large bathtub on the balcony of the room, so it is great to be able to enjoy the hot spring open-air bath while looking at the sea at any time you like. I took a bath at night and in the morning. In addition, the meal was served at the restaurant, and the dinner was served in the course tailoring, but the sashimi, soup, fish dishes, meat dishes were all very delicious, and the children were very happy to eat. In this course, it was a plan to prepare a private room for dinner and breakfast, so I was very grateful that children could get tired of playing. This time I stayed for only one night, so I stayed and checked out the next day, but next time I would like to stay for a few days and take a walk on the island. Thank you for a very nice time.
