Hotels Near Sohliya Strawberry Farm in Shillong

We stayed at LadyBird for 3 nights. The best part about this hotel is their staff and the service provided by them. They are ever smiling, ever ready to go that extra mile to help. Sam became very very dear to us during this trip. He is extremely professional and yet very friendly. Very sweet human being. We thank Sam and the team for making us feel at home. Loved the food at this hotel as well.

It was a nice stay but room was extremely small that one can't understand by just looking at the picture. Everything else was good. Washroom was clean and staff was polite.

Great location, great food, clean and incredible staff. They made our stay very much comfortable and memorable. Food is really superb they have a pure vegetarian restaurant, must try their indian cuisine special dal makhani, aloo dum. Most recommended places to visit and stay in shillong.

Beautiful Hotel in mid of main center point of Shillong. Staff were so helpful and professional. Food was amazing and mouth watering. I met the Manager of the Hotel who was so fantastic in solving our issues. We will definitely visit this Hotel in our upcoming visit in Shillong. Kudos to the Team M Crown 👑

The resort Roinam retreat is a decent place to stay for a larger group. Pros: a. Resort arrangement b. Food c. Rooms cleanliness. Everyday it is cleant and our belongings are safe and secure. d. Front office (Miss Priya and team is very friendly and approachable) . We had a medical emergency one night and the front office team did not hesitate to help us to their best. They accompanied us to the nearby hospital - Hats-off Cons Location - its a bit interior and vey little access to any shops, but on the other hand it gives a very calm and near to nature atmosphere Food - We were veg group so not many options Breakfast - The menu is standard and repeats alternate days. No options at all Food area - Reception and food area is the same so felt very cramped. Power fluctuation - Although they have generator backup, during metered power the voltage falls low even the fan finds it difficult to run.

Absolutely worth it! We only stayed at the pear tree for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! Even with one night the owner and staff made such an impression. The room is elegant (beautifully furnished) with original hardwood floors and a proper place for your luggage. We needed to arrange a driver to go to the airport, they booked us one right away. If you are coming to Shillong, this is the place to stay. The location is great, the people are incredibly friendly, and breakfast is provided. The taxi driver didn’t know how to get to it at first but the hotel staff happily got on the phone with the driver and we had no problems getting there after that. If you need any suggestions on where to go they also have great knowledge of the area and surrounding areas. We hope to come again.

A perfect place to stay with friends/family/couples. The property has 3 wings- heritage, forest and valley wing. We stayed in the valley wing. The rooms were small but cozy with a touch of royalty. The view of the city is amazing, especially at night, when city is all lit up. Some rooms have a balcony with is spacious and beautiful. The entire property is well maintained. It definitely provides you a feel of the historic past it beholds. They have designated breakfast and dinner areas in the different wings making sure that guests don't miss out on the heritage and royalty. Orchids and pine trees enhance its beauty. The significance of the horse shoe shaped entrance, the historic importance of different blocks, old photographs take you down the memory lane. The hospitality and food are good. Staff is very courteous. Ambience is great.It lives upto its name.

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

I stayed in Woodstock resort it was one of my best resort Location wise Food is yummy Services are very good Whatever you ordered we get immediately Weather is so pleasant Especially I would like to Thank Ms. Tina Dewri for her wonderful service. I recommend highly to all of my friends and family to go and visit Woodstock Resort and meet the manager she was so helpful and kind hearted. Overall it was my wonderful experience if I get a chance to rate I should have rated 100 out of 100. Thank you Ms.Tina and your team for everything and lovely services We will visit again .
