Because I wanted to ensure that I had enough energy to enjoy Shilin, I chose to go to Shilin one day in advance. I booked this hotel in Shilin Scenic Area. The front desk guy was very enthusiastic and gave me a parking ticket. The room was a LOFT type, with only a table and chairs on the first floor. In fact, you can add a single or double-layer children's bed to make it a parent-child room. There was a little smell when you entered the room. It might be that the air in the windowless room was not good, and there were not many people living there during the off-season. The bathroom was a little small, but there was nothing wrong with it. It was very convenient to eat around, and there were many restaurants before the scenic area closed. The breakfast in the hotel was 18 yuan per person, with rice noodles, and other general breakfasts.

GGuest UserIch habe zwei Nächte dort verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte alle üblichen Annehmlichkeiten (Wasserkocher, Föhn). Das Bett war ziemlich hart.
Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt am Stone Forest, aber man kann zum Ticket Office in ca. 20 min laufen oder per Taxi fahren.
Direkt nebenan befindet sich ein großer Supermarkt und in nächster Nähe auch einige Restaurants.
Schräg gegenüber kann man Busfahrkarten nach Kunming kaufen bzw. fährt dort auch der Bus ab.

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

GGuest UserThe B&B, which I didn’t really have any expectations for, really gave me a big surprise! The boss is an elegant person at first glance. There are flowers everywhere on the corridor. There is a small garden on the roof, and there is also a reading place. If my time is not limited, I might just spend some time looking at the flowers and reading.
The B&B is right next to Ashima Square. I thought it would be noisy, but the music stopped playing in the square after ten o'clock in the evening. Maybe it is because the glass sound insulation effect is good, and there is almost no noise at night.
There is a food court next to it, so the problem of eating during the Chinese New Year is solved.
The free rock sugar oranges are delicious, a caring boss!
The possibility of traveling here again in the future is very low, but if friends come here, I will definitely recommend it to them.

The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic, patient and willing to help. The room is clean and tidy, comfortable and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete and well maintained, there is a laundry room and various fitness equipment, which is very convenient for me who is on business trips all year round. I really feel the hotel's meticulous management and thoughtful service. The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the parking is free, the breakfast variety is also very rich, and the overall value for money is excellent. It is a very satisfactory experience.

The rooms were nice and affordable, the staff even advised us on where to go for the best experience in shilin. We had so much fun, would definitely recommend to a friend. 😄😄

The most important thing is that for a kid like me, I can take my kids to visit scenic spots and soak in hot springs in one place. It’s so worth it! The children had a lot of fun. After soaking in the hot springs, they could also pick fruits. The cantaloupe was really delicious. You can’t buy such delicious cantaloupe in the market. It was really good!

GGuest UserLocation was good in that it was around a lot of shops and stores. Front desk people were helpful in answering any questions that I had. I felt like I didn't have much access to the kitchen in cooking my own stuff. Sometimes I was confused about whether it was okay to eat the food that the chef cooked or those meals were only for guest that paid for it. I appreciate the front desk people for loaning out their phone charger to me on a temporary basis when mine didn't work until I can get a new one.

Breakfast is a highlight, with a wide variety of varieties, from Chinese buns and porridge to Western bread and coffee, which can meet the taste needs of different people and start a day full of vitality.
The sanitation is also quite good, the room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spotless, and the details are carefully considered.
The overall stay experience is excellent. Next time I travel, this place will definitely be my first choice. I strongly recommend it to everyone!
