Great location just a short bus ride to the Shilin AAAAA Park. The bus stop is very close to Mijia Inn. On the same street are several places to eat, and around the corner is a shop to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. The room is spacious and very clean, with good air-con... it was very hot when we visited! Downstairs is a cafe with very good coffee and nice ambience. The owner is friendly, and altough she does not speak English, she is patient with my (very poor) Chinese, and she helped us to find the grocery shop, etc. In the room, there are slippers, shampoo, etc, and the hot water pressure is excellent. A very relaxing, quiet, and clean place to stay if you are visiting the rock forest or the nearby caves. It is a good value for the price.

The room is relatively large, and the most special thing is that it has a balcony that looks at the villa area, which is very open. The hotel is large, well-equipped, and parking is very convenient. You can rest and sit downstairs, and it is very close to the Stone Forest Scenic Area and the Ice and Snow World. There are places to eat about 4 kilometers away, and there is a place to charge for about 3 kilometers when traveling by car, which costs 0.68 yuan at night.

Dingdeshun Hotel is really a hotel run by a quality and good boss. I am also very good after I come. Especially the room has a Jingzhongbao country room, there is a preferential accommodation policy for military personnel, very curious, the boss used to be a military man, right? I came to Shilin again and stayed at Sequoia Lake Hotel. Everything was still so familiar! The hotel has a good location, convenient travel and good surrounding environment. The facilities are a little bit outdated, but for this price, it is still a very good choice in Shilin!

The B&B is 2km away from the scenic spot and far away from the city. However, the B&B is built in an antique style and is very ethnic. The proprietress has collected a lot of old things, which highlights the interest. In fact, its catering should be the main focus. It is recommended that everyone must have a dinner there. , super delicious! The breakfast is rice noodles, which are also very good! The B&B was developed with supporting facilities. The interior decoration of the B&B is very characteristic of the Yi people and the rooms are very spacious. However, there was a buzzing sound in the room on the second floor where we stayed. I don’t know what it was. The air conditioning in the hotel room is not very powerful, and it is quite cold on cold days.

The triple room I stayed in was clean and hygienic. Although it is far from the city, the environment is really good. It is a good place for tourism. The hotel also provides free parking and breakfast. The attitude of the service staff is also very good. I will come again if I have the chance.

My stay was absolutely a delightful experience. The host Chu Da is a kind, sensitive, and gracious person. He made sure that our needs are met. He volunteered to drive us to Shilin scenic area, free of charge. He was always there to help us. That level of hospitality and generosity is very moving. He rendered our relationship more than just a business transaction. He is very sincere and available to help, and yet not intrusive. He is a man of few words, and even came across as a very shy and reserved person. But it was a pleasure to be around him. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is an ideal host. His house is aesthetically pleasing and tasteful and enjoys state-of-the-art facilities. My room felt like a five-star-hotel room with a balcony. The backyard gives the whole house a space of tranquility. Chu Da apparently loves life and living. All the plants and flowers both inside and outside of the house are well cared for. Chu Da has a son who was there too. I find his son a delightful child who resembles his father in both appearance and personality. Their house is centrally located in the Yi Ethnic Village and yet enjoys a very secluded corner that feels very private. With all these amazing qualities, this place is yet so affordable. The level of service that I received made me feel that it’s actually underpriced. Highly recommending this place to you. I would stay there if I were going back, which is very likely given that I had such a wonderful, albeit brief, visit.
