The hotel room is quite large, with its own bathtub, quite comfortable, clean and tidy. The front desk staff is also very enthusiastic. There are also many small restaurants nearby. The only drawback is that parking is inconvenient. There are too few parking spaces in the hotel and it is not easy to park.

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

The location is excellent, just minutes from two subway stations, making transportation extremely convenient. The surrounding area is bustling with businesses, offering numerous shopping and dining options. The hospitality of the front desk staff is particularly commendable. When I first arrived in Shijiazhuang, they provided me with a self-drawn tourist map, offering detailed instructions and helping me check shuttle bus schedules via my phone. They also offer afternoon tea and late-night porridge service, making hot millet porridge a delightful treat upon returning from my trip. The breakfast menu is extensive, and the bedding is spotless and tidy. This is a very cost-effective hotel, a great choice for both business and leisure trips.
