Fukuichi

The hotel has a large parking lot. Parking is very convenient. It is located next to the Jingu Shrine and the walking street. The staff is friendly and courteous. The breakfast is rich. In addition to basic Japanese and Western dishes, there is also sashimi rice. The room we booked for 4 people is very comfortable. , will come again next time.

應該算是伊香保最好住的酒店，四百多年歷史，但不覺得舊，幾個湯都很棒，服務人員專業周到，大堂的小機器人超級可愛。19層去往石階進出口的通道里有一家小餐廳，三個包間，每晚8-11點半營業，煎餃和拉麪都好吃。這個地方的人友善好客，烏冬面是地方特產，每家都好吃；黑船屋的祖傳石鍋咖喱飯特別美味；Sara’s Terrace Arraiya 的套餐很家常；Lungo自家烘培的咖啡最好喝，配一串年糕糰子太香了！階梯旁的抹茶店已經很網紅，但店員好熱心啊，見我摔倒了立刻拿急救箱跑出來給我處理傷口，感動！附近的原美術館也很值得一去，在一個有很多羊的牧場裏。

I think this is a large inn in Ikaho Onsen. I usually avoid large inns when staying at hot spring inns, so I have never stayed there before, but I found out that I could stay at a reasonable price in February, which is the month of Fukuichi, so I stayed there for the first time. In conclusion, I felt that it can be evaluated as a "very good inn" considering the balance with the price. I arrived early, but while I was drinking coffee in the spacious lobby, I was shown to my room without having to wait too long. I stayed in the Senjyukan room, which was spacious and had a great view. There were some parts that felt a little old, but it wasn't enough to bother me. I didn't have high expectations for dinner, but the sashimi was fresh. The seafood bowl at the breakfast buffet was also delicious. The front desk staff, the guide staff, and the staff in charge at dinner were all very nice. There were only about two people at dinner time, and they seemed to be in charge of all the tables in the room, but I was impressed with how efficiently they handled the situation. I would like to stay here again in a different season.

First of all, this is my first comment since returning to Japan. It's probably been 8 years since my last comment, but I'll be writing steadily from now on. What surprised me about Fukuichi was that I didn't see any foreign guests even though it was this time of year. Of course, it could be because the check-in time was early, but that was the first thing that made an impression on me. Instead, there was an Italian employee who spoke very fluent Japanese, and I happened to have the opportunity to hear him answer the phone, and I was impressed by his way of speaking. It's not uncommon to see foreigners at the front desk these days, but this was the first time I've seen one person working alone at the front desk. It shows how thorough Fukuichi's employees are in training. Also, I thought it was great to see how he expressed his gratitude in a loud voice at breakfast. However, the only thing that bothered me was checking the materials that were handed out to customers. Actually, I was following the bus timetable I was given, but due to the recent revision of the bus timetable, the bus didn't come and I missed the Shinkansen. Of course, I won't deny that I made a mistake in checking, but as long as it's a document to be handed over to a customer, I want them to be as thorough as possible. This is why I took off one star. The food, the service, the cleanliness of the room, and above all, my wife was pleased with the in-room bath. She said that taking a bath in the early morning snow was the best. This is an inn that we would definitely like to visit again.
