Baymont by Wyndham Sheridan

As I recall the place was clean and looked like a nice motel from the exterior and interior not sure worn out budget look. My one big complaint about the hotel is that I booked a Queen and that bed did not look like a Queen. It looked like a fall. So when I went down the manager or owner said that all the beds in the hotel were the same size and that was a Queen. But I think they decreed in that hotel that full size beds for queens because at the next hotel I went to that had a Queen it sure looked a lot bigger. I did not have a tape measure with me to rip measures a bed but it sure looked small. I was with my wife so we could sleep close and that's okay. I had already asked to be placed on the 2nd floor to see the scenery outside the window at my wife's request and they put me on the wrong side but we did have some sort of scenery. I thought maybe the manager didn't want to move me twice but he said all the beds were the same size. Anyway be warned if you book a Queen and this hotel you're getting a smaller bed. I was busy and just spent a night there and did not get to enjoy the amenities but I saw they had a pool and heard they had no hot tub and I saw they had a little laundromat type area which is good. They tried to have a nice breakfast with the offerings given the limitations of no commercial kitchen. They had frozen toast and frozen fried eggs with a block of cheese in each egg. The problem was the toast was frozen when I got a hold of it and so was the cheese in the middle of the cooked egg. They were out of eggs when I got there and I suspect the warmer would warm that she's up over time but probably people wanted eggs quicker than they could warm up. The breakfast could be greatly improved by the presence of a microwave oven. I just threw the frozen cinnamon toast on the waffle Maker and heated it up that way but I did not want to do that with an egg though I probably could have. But that would have been unkind to leave that cheese on the griddle for the next customer.

Great stay The front desk staff was so friendly. The computer system was down but the front desk gal was still friendly and helpful. Shower pressure was great, Dove shampoo and conditioner. Comfortable bed

Overall, the property was fine, there was a small stain on the comforter and some toenail clippings on the floor near the bed, but the bathroom's were clean and the room was quiet.

The basics…over priced, friendly staff The front desk staff was very friendly! The price was pretty expensive for what the hotel offered..$200 a night and the in room phone did not work to call the front desk, we had to ask for a do not disturb sign and the Tv in my mom’s room did not work. It is inconvenient to have an ice machine only on the 1st floor. The beds were old with pretty lumpy mattresses. The breakfast was decent though they were not prepared for the large crowd of a fully booked hotel…an hour before it was scheduled to end on Sunday neither of the hot items was still available.

Only stayed 1nt but the front desk associate was great. The property was ver clean and it was quiet. Close to highway but could not hear cars going by.

The room had a smoke odor in the room. It was very nauseating. I had 2 kids with me, if we weren't so tired after a 16 hour drive i would have asked for another room.
