Hotels near Pinghu Railway Station, Shenzhen

Very good check-in experience, the manager at the store was full and the manager Tu also helped me find a parking space. The staff in the store were very polite! I really feel that the service is better than all the hotels I have stayed in. I will come to stay next time. Environment: The hotel was booked for the concert ~ the location is very easy to find near the intersection, and it is super convenient to take a taxi! There are many restaurants nearby where you can order takeout~ You won’t be afraid of being hungry at night😆 Facilities: The hotel needs to swipe the room card to go upstairs. The privacy is very strong ~ the room facilities are also very complete, and there are daily necessities that should be there! Service: Check-in is super fast and it takes a few minutes to get it done✌🏻If you need anything, call the lady at the front desk and she will answer it patiently~ Overall: The experience is completely ok..!

This time I went to Shenzhen for a two-day and one-night weekend, because I was going to Gankeng Ancient Town early the next morning, and the hotels in the ancient town were also fully exposed. So I chose the Holiday Inn Hotel, which has guaranteed quality and is a few subway stations away from Gankeng. 🚃 Holiday Inn can take Shenzhen Metro Line 10 (a 15-minute walk from China South City Station). There is already a shopping mall, multiple restaurants and supermarkets connected to the hotel. 🍜 A short distance away from China South City (taking a taxi is also very cheap) there is a newly built large shopping mall - Wanda Plaza . Adults will not get tired of walking around all day.  Special praise to Xiao Deng and Xiao Luo at the hotel front desk for their attentive and courteous service. 👍 The hotel room is hygienic and comfortable, with bathing, shampoo, toothbrush, slippers, and complete daily necessities. I will book again next time~

Other then the location that is super close to Wanda Plaza, everything about this hotel is just average. I appreciate that the hotel extended the check-out time to 2 pm, however, they cut off the access to the elevator and your room after 12 pm, which means you either checkout at 12 or if you still want to stay in the hotel, DO NOT leave your room from 12-2pm, otherwise you cannot get back inside. I went out to have breakfast and returned after 12 which ended up asking other people who just check-in to help me access to my floor and find a cleaning lady to help me open my room door.

I highly recommend Mercure Shenzhen Pinghu as an exceptional accommodation choice. This hotel is brand new and spotlessly clean. Service was exceptional, every staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our whole stay. They went the extra mile to arrange car services for us every time we go out and spent time helping us out with the planning on the rest of our journey to another town as well. Best hotel in China I've stayed in so far, definitely staying with this hotel or other eLong chains in the future when I get a chance.

The Hotel staff was amiable and accommodating. Although very little English was spoken, the staff tried to speak Cantonese to my wife. We were upgraded to a suite which was clean and very big. Our package included a daily buffet breakfast and VIP lounge access for a light meal in the evening. We were given choices out of 4 sets. The set meal in the lounge was average but it was very cosy and quiet with all kinds of drinks available. The best part of the hotel was the bathtub with a view! The buffet breakfast was OK. Tea and coffee were very average. You get better quality from your room. There are a variety of international cable TV channels. To my disappointment, the very latest international movie collections come with a daily flat rate. The size of the TV is a bit small compared to the size of the suite. The sound bar was fantastic though. We were very happy that we did not smell cigarette smoke in the hotel except near the smoking venue. The hotel is very easy to get to by the underground train. You can have weatherproof access to the gigantic mall across the road via the train station. Hard Rock Hotel is positioned to take advantage of the local facilities for a family holiday. It is very popular with families from HK.

The room facilities are OK, it looks bright and comfortable. The night I stayed from 10:30 to 11:30, there were a few children chasing noisy in the corridor, and I couldn't sleep, but the hotel was not patrolled, and the soundproofing of the room was very poor. The door of the neighboring room was clearly heard. It was an unpleasant experience.

The overall feeling is very good, the service is also in place, the hygiene is cleaned up in time, and the supporting facilities are still very complete. The only fly in the ointment is that the location of the hotel is a bit off, far from the city center. There are many places to eat and shop around, close to Metro Line 10. You can go to the center of the train station by subway

The room smells so bad, I'm really speechless. The smell is even stronger after the air conditioner is turned on. Is the air conditioner not cleaned? It stinks as soon as you enter the door. You can only keep the windows open to ventilate. It takes a long time to get rid of the smell. Hygiene is also average, the toilet is not particularly clean. Also, the sound insulation effect is so-so. You can hear the sound of the door closing next door. After staying in this hotel a few times, I feel that the environment is getting worse and worse. I am speechless.
