"This apartment hotel was the perfect choice for our short family trip! The hygiene was impeccable; the bedding was changed for every guest, and the floors were so clean we felt comfortable walking barefoot. Even the washing machine had no strange odors inside. The facilities were very family-friendly: the washing machine solved the problem of changing clothes for the kids, and the gas stove quickly heated water for washing up. The room also had enough tables, chairs, and wardrobes for storing luggage. The environment was peaceful, with a small garden downstairs that was lovely for an evening stroll. The indoor lighting was excellent, and ventilation was good, so it didn't feel stuffy at all. The service was especially thoughtful; my family forgot a charger, and the front desk proactively helped us out. They also kindly reminded us about gas usage precautions. The whole experience was meticulous and considerate, and my family praised my choice!"

The room type I stayed in was perfect. It had a separate walk-in closet, and the entrance foyer was cleverly designed so the door didn't open directly onto the bed. The bathroom was completely separated into wet and dry areas, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. My only minor gripe was the toilet placement, which felt a bit too tucked away in a corner.
Throughout the entire hotel, there was a distinctive yet subtle fragrance. The eight elevators did an excellent job of minimizing wait times, a common issue in high-rise buildings.
The buffet breakfast restaurant on the first floor offered a wide variety of choices. Even when it was crowded, staff were efficient at seating guests in suitable spots, and used plates were promptly cleared away after each trip to the buffet. The service level was exceptionally high.
Overall, it was a very good experience."

"Excellent Stay at Huaqiang Plaza Hotel – Perfect Location!
I had a wonderful stay at Huaqiang Plaza Hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, bright, and extremely comfortable. The city view from the window was beautiful and relaxing.
Location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Huaqiangbei, one of Shenzhen’s best shopping districts. The metro station is literally downstairs, making it very easy to travel anywhere in the city.
For guests who prefer Uyghur or Halal cuisine, this hotel is especially convenient. There are several authentic Uyghur restaurants just 3–5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Delicious food, great portions, and very reasonable prices.
The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was done daily and very professionally.
Overall, this hotel is perfect for both business trips and family travel. I highly recommend Huaqiang Plaza Hotel when staying in Shenzhen!"

BBoboThe HUAQIANG BEI CITY HOTEL is brand new, and it was our first time staying there. The fresh, stylish decor made it feel very comfortable and clean, with no lingering 'new renovation' smell in the room. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; despite being in the bustling Huaqiangbei area, the rooms were very quiet with excellent soundproofing. The restaurant's food was exquisite, and the dining environment was elegant. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful and detailed; upon check-in, they upgraded our room and gave us afternoon tea vouchers. On our departure day, they proactively extended our check-out time to 3 PM and even gave us a souvenir and bottled water. We're very grateful!

HHuahuayaofafarCame up north for the weekend. I arrived at the hotel already past midnight, having booked it last minute. The front desk staff were still incredibly warm and attentive. When I ordered takeout late at night and forgot chopsticks, they promptly helped me out! The room was spacious and very clean, and there are so many great places to eat nearby!

We managed to combine the two beds and it was comfortable for three people. The hotel also provides good quality toiletries. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

Iivy_5471As a beachfront resort hotel, the sea view is beautiful, especially on a clear day, comparable to Sanya. However, the sand at Dameisha is very coarse and quite rough on the feet. The hotel is large with many rooms, but the room size is tiny. This is truly the smallest and oldest InterContinental I've ever stayed in. Upon entering the room, there was an immediate smell of dampness and mold. The room lighting was dim, and the furniture colors were dark, making it feel very oppressive and uncomfortable. The single beds in the twin room were 1.2 meters wide, which is very narrow. The description said it was renovated in 2020, but the old condition of the facilities suggests it's at least a decade old. Also, the toilet and curtains are not electric, which is very inconvenient. The public swimming pool at the hotel is excellent, large, and the water temperature is suitable. Staff members are always on hand to monitor safety, which is reassuring. Breakfast is plentiful, and the dining area is quite spacious. There were many people checking in, probably due to the holiday, and I had to queue for a long time. The room wasn't ready, so I asked if they would call me when it was. The front desk said no, and that I'd have to come back to the front desk to ask, giving the reason that there were too many people checking in... I've never seen anything like it! Has the hotel never hosted so many guests before? The cleaning lady was excellent, very meticulous in cleaning, and the room was spotless. She was responsive and always willing to help, I'm very grateful! If it weren't for the great cleaning lady, the hotel's service wouldn't even get a 3-star rating. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the sea; you just walk downstairs to the beach, and you can see the sea from your room, which is very nice. During the National Day holiday, the hotel price went up to over 3000 a night. For this room size, facilities, and service, I personally think it's very overpriced. I'd consider it acceptable if it were around 1000. I've stayed at many InterContinental hotels, and this one is indeed a bit subpar.

The staff were not only incredibly personable but also their service attitude was exceptionally warm and attentive. During check-in and check-out, they were meticulous and even thoughtfully provided recommendations for local attractions and dining spots, which significantly enhanced my positive impression.
The guest rooms were equally impressive, surprisingly spacious with a thoughtful layout. The decor was minimalist yet stylish. They were spotlessly clean, and all essential amenities were provided. Lying in bed, it truly felt like a cozy home away from home.
The hotel's gym was a definite highlight. The equipment was well-maintained and user-friendly. Plus, there were professional trainers on hand to assist, making it comfortable even for fitness beginners to work out.
Breakfast was another delightful surprise. The aroma of freshly baked bread was inviting, and there was a good balance of hot and cold dishes, along with a variety of freshly prepared beverages. It was a true pleasure to start the day with such a delicious and substantial breakfast.
From the front desk to the rooms, from the gym to the breakfast, this hotel excelled in every aspect. I will definitely be back again!

Got upgraded to a bigger room again with all the baby amenities! Cot, steriliser and bottle warmer too!
Staff at check in were super helpful and friendly, we were a few hours early and they still allowed us to check in given travelling with a baby.
Location is great, walkable distance to lots of restaurants.

MM319450****I arrived at the hotel past 1 AM, fully expecting the front desk staff to be tired. To my surprise, Patrick was incredibly energetic. He confirmed my Ctrip booking in seconds and even upgraded me to a higher floor room overlooking the bar street and Ping An Finance Centre. Despite being next to the bar street, I found it very quiet, even with an extra bed in the living room facing it. I'm not sure where all those negative reviews about noise from the bar street come from. I think this hotel is great; I even extended my stay for another night. Eva and Xiaoli were very patient in answering my numerous questions and quickly helped me switch to a twin room and move my luggage. The room is spacious with great natural light. They even reminded me about the temperature drop in Shenzhen and to dress warmly, showing exceptional care. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

The front desk staff assigned me a room with a pool view. The hotel also offered complimentary welcome drinks at the pool bar upon check-in, which could be redeemed simply by showing my room card. 11391879****This stay completely exceeded our expectations; it's truly a hidden gem of a resort! 🏝️ We had originally booked a basic room, but the front desk generously upgraded us for free! Our room was cozy and tastefully decorated, with all the soft furnishings thoughtfully designed, creating a truly wonderful ambiance. After check-in, the front desk staff proactively arranged a shuttle to take us directly to Building 40.
Our dedicated WeChat concierge was available 24/7, proactively sending us breakfast times, local guides, and helpful tips. They responded instantly to any small request, and each evening, they reminded us about the complimentary 'goodnight dessert soup' available at the front desk. The soup, served daily from 8:30 PM to 9:50 PM, was wonderfully sweet and incredibly soothing. Paired with a fresh and delicately presented small fruit platter, enjoying it before bed truly brought a burst of happiness! ✨
The in-room amenities were incredibly thoughtful; small touches like electric mosquito repellent and steam eye masks were provided, and even the mini-bar drinks were complimentary! The breakfast staff were equally attentive. This morning, we overslept and rushed to the restaurant just before closing, but the staff kindly told us not to worry and specifically extended the breakfast time for us! Upon check-out, we even received an unexpected farewell gift. It's clear that every single detail here is handled with immense care and thoughtfulness!!!
