Hotels in Huaqiangbei Area, Shenzhen

We love this new hotel with excellent spacious room, comfy beddings and magnificent view. Their front desk staff have outstanding customer service skills. We had front desk staff 毛豆 who greeted us at check in upgrading us with an extra afternoon tea voucher. During check out, Sundy gave us free Lollypet petting zoo admission for 2 after we gave them some feedback regarding the noises made at 7:45am by their outsourced hotel building exterior window cleaning vendor. This proved that they have good customer service and have taken hotel guests’ feedback with a professional and matured approach which we really appreciated. Complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations given the price of hotel is very reasonable. The room is in good condition, cleaned, spacious and beddings are comfortable. The location is good and right outside of 燕南 metro station. I would recommend this hotel to friends given they have above level service.

Location: right next to many malls in the heart of the electronics market. Aplenty food options. While the train station is just at the hotel’s doorstep, we did not get to use it, just didi everywhere. Service: impeccable! The staff 小黄 was constantly checking in via WeChat with my hub if we needed help and if we were pleased with the room. The staff even surprised my hub with a Father’s Day gift! I don’t think we’ve had such level of care and thoughtfulness even in top international hotel brands. Room & amenities: toilet amenities were well provided for. The bath towels were soft and luxurious. Beddings were fine but I wish the housekeeping staff had allowed us to have just 2 more pillows (wanted to +4 so we each get 2 pillows but she sounded hesitant to give us anything more than +2). I guess I could have insisted but decided not to. The double bed was a bit smaller than expected but thankfully we are small frames. Wouldn’t recommend double sharing if you are bigger build. Breakfast and supper: both came free with our room. Breakfast spread was decent. Supper was one congee and a noodle station. Not for fussies.

New, Spacious and clean twin bedroom. Japanese muji feel. Have a lounge area for rest and chit chat. Hair dryer is ready in room too, no need to special request from the front desk. Washroom is spacious enough with fully equipped. Water pressure is big and comfortable. Bottled water will be refill everyday or you also can get your refill at the lift waiting area. Location is just right at Huaqiangbei area, access by 2 subway line, there is a Mcd right infront the hotel

This Hotel is a little gem!slightly tricky to find you way in !However the path is between Sinopec Petrol Station and the next building on Shennan Road !The building where there are giant Advertisements !on the South side of Huaqiang Road !If you look carefully on the Giant Advertisements,on the right ,you will see Marker Hotel name on a yellow ocre background !The hotel is without pretension,but very nice and simple ,And seems to be enjoyed by Russians,Central Asians ,South-East Asians ,even French !It is clean ,quiet ,very good value for money !The location is ideal !A lot of take over food shops and very cheap !One advantage extremely important :The checking out is at 2 pm !This was such a nice surprise to me !The bed are large ,the Aircond pleasantly quite !My only concern in praising this hotel too much ,is to get it fully booked ,next time I come to Huaqiangbei !

The room was clean, spacious, and modern. The small kitchen had everything I needed – stove, kettle, fridge. There’s also a washing machine on the balcony, which is perfect for longer stays. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. Very convenient and great value. Great stay!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is unbeatable – it’s right across from the metro, making it very easy to get around the city. It’s also close to shopping centers and an electronics market. The hotel offers great perks like free ice cream daily and night snacks, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed and pillows were comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. A special thanks to Zhi Jun for going above and beyond to assist us during our stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone to stay at this hotel.

Fraser Suites ShenZhen was very good to stay at for the Easter weekend. The room was very clean and came with a kitchenette, internal laundry and laundry rack which came in handy given we needed to do laundry. We also enjoyed use of the infinity pool on the top floor overlooking the park and city. The room we stayed in however had poor workmanship for the floating floorboards. The hotel should replace these floorboards as the gaps are showing which can pose as a safety issue for patrons feet to trip over/get stuck in.

Though the reception staff doesn’t speak English, the way the staff treats customers is way better than I expected(I’m from Japan so I’m used to good service but I was surprised at their hospitality). Upon checking in they gave me hot tea and check in process was faster than 5 star hotel in China. The room was clean and has enough amenities. The fridge in the room had a bunch of water bottles, and even snacks which were free. They also have free laundry service, you just put your laundry in the basket and next day you wake up with your laundry washed and hung on the doorknob. When I left the hotel they even gave me a small gift and a water bottle.Overall I was very satisfied with the hotel, and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel worked very well for our visit to Huaqiangbei (华强北）. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the 4th floor was being renovated, I was able to access the gym upon request. The desk let us check our luggage while we waited for our flight. (HQB106) was particularly helpful while we were checking out and arranging our ride to the airport.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location surrounded by good amenities and access to public transport. However, the property is aged and is badly in need of renovation and upgrades. The air-conditioner in my room, in particular, was not functioning at all. I left a message with the reception for the housekeeping to fix it whilst I was on my way out but she conveniently forgot about my request. Upon my return, I was patient to wait for the relevant repair personnel to come by but he was not able to resolve the problem. In the meantime, I discovered there were other problems. The toilet bowl and the air ventilator in the bathroom were also not functioning as well.In the end, they have to offer to change my room. Frankly, the air-conditioner in the ”new” was not great either, but it was still better than that in the first room. Overall, I rate my stay as average as I am willing to give them some benefit of doubt because of the high volume of guests arriving on a weekend.
