Nanyang Inn is a traditional shophouse style building in Southeast Asia, with an exotic style and full of humanistic charm. There are 70 rooms in seven types: double bed, queen bed, deluxe double bed, deluxe twin bed, mini double bed, duplex room and suite, to meet the different needs of guests; It has two multi-functional conference rooms with different space designs, with an area of xx, both equipped with advanced conference and activity facilities and wireless network services, suitable for holding small xxx; At the same time, it has a gym and an outdoor platform to provide guests with leisure and entertainment services. My kid wanted to stay one more day. 🥰 I booked the different room type. It says “mountain view” but the view was village and mountain view 💜 when you wake up, you can see a historical village view. The room is pretty spacious for a family with 2 little kids. 🥳 Staffs were very kind and helpful. I will visit this area and stay this hotel again ☺️

This is an honest review. We had the best experience staying in this hotel. And I have 0 complains in terms of everything. When we got there the Hotel staff upgraded to a family room therefore each of us had 2 queen bed so each of us managed to sleep on a queen bed just by our selves! But even without the upgrade, we would have still rated this place 5 star. The WiFi is fast. Water pressure in the toilet is soo good that you don't want leave the toilet. It has both a rain shower and a normal shower. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the main entrance. It's the first hotel from the entrance as well so you don't have to walk far from the entrance. The staff's here were Very polite they always recommend us the best place to visit and eat here. We had a mandarin speaker friend with us who was speaking to the staff however no worries, they can still speak some basic English and if you have an issue, you can always use a translator app to communicate (we used Google translate). Overall if we ever comeback again to Gangken Hakka Village, we will definitely stay here. The price we booked as well was way much more cheaper then other hotels around which was a plus point for us.
Getting to the hotel: First of all, for those taking the Metro train, you'll need to get out from the Gangkeng station (pink line) then when you're out you'll fine some Tuk Tuk (or can take Didi their local Uber) there which you can take to the Village entrance. From there on, walk 3 minutes and you'll find the Hotel. *Note you'll see MacDonald then enter to the row on the right straight to the Hotel Lobby. It's 1 minute walk from Macdonald's.

A hidden gem! Great location in the heart of the Gankeng Hakka Village. The beds and bath were luxurious. Ideal for a family.

The hotel is in the middle of the old town - which is quite away from the city center. But it is an interesting place to stay for one night. It is clean and valued for the money paid for the stay.

Location is good, 5 mins walk from main entrance. Great location, just located next to major attractions. I booked two king size bedrooms, very spacious. Room is clean.
