Insail Hotel (Shenzhen Luohu Dongmen)

You get what you pay for. Smokey room.old building. Somewhat far from the metro. Somewhat weak air con. Mediocre service.

It was ok, it is very closed to Luohu direct, but the  cleanliness of the hotel room still need some improvement. The wooden floor was cracked and with dirt in the cracked floor gap. Toilet seats and pillow cases also has multiple stain marks when first entered the room. But they are happy to swap & clean if you request to the reception. Overall is good for budget people, but there are plenty other hotel options available, if you want better quality.

It was a decent stay experience as a solo traveler at this hotel in Shenzhen. This time, I planned to move to HongKong after a day trip in Shenzhen so I decided to select a hotel near the border and this was the best option I could choose overall including price efficiency. The service was neither excellent nor bad since the front desk staffs finished my check-in procedure quickly but they were not that welcoming either. I wish they could have some more smiles on their face so guests could feel more welcomed at the moment of first arrival. The room was spacious with more than enough amenities but I wished it could have been a bit cleaner than it was honestly. Yet, the hygiene condition was acceptable for sure. Lastly, it’s a bit distant from the city center so those who plan to stay near the border are recommended to choose this hotel. Otherwise, I think you can consider other options elsewhere. :)

The room is bit suffocated, not so very clean. not very far from centre. But very close to metro station.

Putting the aircon in front of the window. So We cannot open it. Some customers speak strongly at night to disturb and Smoke.

Pros: Nice front desk staff, very helpful, not sure if they speak English though. Can store your baggage at the front desk for free on the day you check out, and can check in early if they have room available (for free). Can be quite flexible with checkout time. Good room service and cleanliness. 10-ish min walk from 2 metro stations, 25-30 min walk from 东门老街, quite some local eateries nearby Cons: Room smaller than expected, pillows are quite flat, some noticeable stains on the wall, could have more toilet paper. For the price I paid, I think it's alright
