This was an ok stay. Overpriced because of the Golden Week holiday, but about the cheapest you can get and still be in the vicinity of the beach. It’s a good 30 minute walk to the beach from this tiny village with a few Chinese restaurants. There is an electric shuttle bus that will take you to the beach for 10 RMB/person each way. There is literally nothing in this area except the beach and tiny villages. Very remote. Would not advise coming here during national holidays, as traffic on the winding country roads can be terrible.
We stayed in the family friendly room, which our 19 month old loved, because it had a play area with a slide and rocking horse inside the room. The bathroom was a wet room without an enclosed shower. The biggest thing was no real towels provided. We were given a packages with large paper towels in them at check-in, which is a bit of a joke gor 400/night. If you stay here, you’d better bring your own towels! Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.
