Squeezing in a last-minute getaway, hehe😁 As many reviews noted, check-in was quite slow. However, I could tell the front desk attendant was genuinely putting in a lot of effort to find an available room and assign a suitable one. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade too. While waiting in line for check-in, a staff member offered us drinks and small pastries. Since it was already past 4 PM and we were quite tired upon arrival, this gesture was very thoughtful. The seawater was indeed nice. From the balcony, you could see the free public park teeming with swimmers until very late at night. The waves were strong and quite high, and the kids had a blast. We even spotted small fish occasionally when diving underwater. The outdoor infinity pool was beautiful and very enjoyable to swim in. The indoor one, however, felt just so-so. The kids' play area was closed, so our main focus was playing in the ocean waves. The information mentioned that dinner reservations were required, but tables were only held until 6 PM. Six o'clock, however, is the perfect time to enjoy the evening and witness the most beautiful sunset. So, making a reservation felt rather pointless; you could just go directly. Also, the weekend meal supplement was a bit pricey: 428 for adults, and 249 for children between 1.2-1.4 meters tall. The dishes were quite plentiful, with the most expensive item, small lobsters, limited to half a lobster per person. It felt more like we were paying for the ambiance than just the food. Furthermore, the package included breakfast for two adults and one child, but the child had to be under 1.2 meters tall. I felt that children under 1.2m are typically offered breakfast for free anyway, so explicitly stating it was 'included for one child' felt a bit like feigned generosity. However, there was a special discount if you added breakfast at the front desk. Exiting the hotel lobby, if you turn right and walk up the road, you'll reach a seaside boardwalk where the water is even greener. It's about a 2km walk to Xiaomeisha, a nice option for those who enjoy strolling. The travel photography service, highly praised in many reviews, was indeed great at teaching us how to pose. However, the 'fine-tuned' editing seemed to be mostly one-click beautification and wasn't really necessary; I would have preferred just the original photos. Overall, if you're not particularly price-sensitive, you can definitely have a fantastic holiday experience here. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a huge balcony directly overlooking a stunning sea view. Every morning, the sunrise painted half the sky crimson, which was truly spectacular. The beach was literally just downstairs, a stone's throw away – it's rare to find a hotel with such direct access. The fine, soft sand is a rarity in mainland China, and I never expected to find such a beautiful beach to enjoy right here in Shenzhen. There's a great variety of children's facilities, including multiple indoor and outdoor pools, plus an indoor heated pool. Our kids absolutely loved playing in the water. The staff were highly responsive and provided attentive service. There are also plenty of supermarkets and small restaurants nearby, about a ten-minute walk away. There were a few minor imperfections, though. The breakfast was decent – enough to fill you up, but nothing particularly exciting. The soundproofing wasn't great. As it's a family-friendly hotel, many guests have children, and over the weekend, kids upstairs were running and screaming for about two hours. Late one night, the occupants of the adjacent room ordered takeout, and the delivery person kept knocking on their door for ages without anyone answering. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was excellent. It was our child's first time seeing the ocean, which happened at the InterContinental, and we'll definitely be back! 👍🏻

Facilities: Great. Direct access to the beach and outdoor pool right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: Our room had a fantastic sea view. The amenities were comprehensive, and the breakfast spread was quite varied. Service: Very satisfied. The mini-bar was well-stocked with drinks and plenty of water, which was perfect for making tea. We also appreciated the two complimentary welcome fruit platters. The housekeeping staff was very polite. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel rooms were spotless. Despite our late arrival, the reception staff quickly checked us in, and luggage delivery was very prompt. The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we're grateful for such a comfortable holiday! I spent a relaxing two-day weekend at Da Meisha InterContinental, and the most pleasant surprise was definitely their travel photography service! We scheduled our shoot for Sunday afternoon, and the photographer was incredibly nice. I was initially worried it might feel awkward, but he was excellent at creating a relaxed atmosphere, guiding us on how to pose naturally throughout the session. What truly impressed me was their incredible efficiency. We received both the original and retouched photos that very same evening! After I posted them on social media, many friends even asked if I had hired a professional photographer. Practical Tips: ✅ Shoot between 4-5 PM for the softest light. ✅ White or light-colored clothing photographs best. ✅ Book at least one day in advance to secure your preferred time slot. ✅ Relax during the shoot; natural expressions always yield the best results. This experience was truly exceptional value for money. I had initially assumed a complimentary hotel photoshoot might be mediocre, but it turned out to be even more professional than many paid photography services. I've already decided to come back, and we'll definitely be getting our family portraits taken here next time!
