We live in NYC and my two daughters would visit this hotel once a year since they love their man made beach and the waterpark. I always booked the club room since the general service is not so good, this time they tried to offer me a room which is cheaper than the room I originally paid, I went back to the Conceriege and Toby there sorted it out immediately and brought a bell boy to move our bags to the right room. I do think it’s necessary to book the room with the club service since the general service is not so good and you do need that extra help. Via and Nico have always been helpful there and the girls had a good time. The breakfast buffet was a good selection or it’s always easy to get a taxi to dine outside. The rooms aged a bit and the hygiene level of the room needs to be improve, I could feel bed bugs during the night…and the stinky smell from the toilet….

Great hospitality with cheerful receptionists and welcoming drinks, easy to access, grant hall, got kids-friendly facilities.
Nice beach and indoor swimming pools for kids.
Variety of international cuisines and fabulous steak house.
Big room with mini-pool inside, kids had great fun 😄

1. Spectacular hotel, must come back.
2. Very clean
3. Very spacious
4. Gym is about 5000 sqft. Fully equipped
5. Every single detail was not missed, from Dyson hair blower to grohe washroom items.
6. Swimming pool with small beach is best for kids.
7. Only thing missing was the dessert selection for the dinner buffet, compensated with free flow wine.

I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Shenzhen. Good Children facilities. The balcony is a plus, providing the perfect spot to relax while my baby slept. Truly a great stay!

I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago so I knew that this is a nice hotel with big space in the room. This time I took my kids with me and they love this hotel and the swimming pool. Of course it looks older than before, I just want to say some areas like the top part of the door, slide door in the bathroom need a deep clean. When I closed the bathroom slide door, the dust from the top fell down on my head. Also for the breakfast time, we need to queue up for a long time, understand that this is a popular hotel during the holiday time. Apart from that we still love this hotel.

Super convenient hotel located beside splendid China cultural village and Window of the World
Rooms were huge and have big bath tubs. Great for soaking away stress after a long day.
Breakfast buffet was scrumptious and lots of choices. Highly recommended for those who wish to visit the park as the hotel is just 2-3mins walking distance

My family, two adults plus two kids (3 and 5 years old), had a really nice one night stay at this hotel.
Yuki and Sirius from check-in greeted us warmly. I had a few questions and they addressed all my concerns professionally. I also requested for bed guards and housekeeping sent them over with the friendliest smile.
We stayed at a kids friendly room with two beds. The room is spacious enough for the kids to roam around while I unpacked our belongings. There’s a huge tub that fits all of us, a balcony with a lounge chair for us to chill in the breeze while munching on snacks / viewing the hotel’s outdoor playground and merry-go-round.
The hotel’s well maintained and I’d say it’s kids friendly. The design of the outdoor and indoor play area have plenty of open-ended play facilities which I appreciate.
They also have a “beach” with sand connecting to the outdoor pool, which btw is smooth and clean, so I felt safe to let my kids play there. There are also plenty of fish in the garden which the hotel allows us to feed and this made it extra fun!
The water park wasn’t open during our stay and we missed the train ride (apparently I read the schedule wrong) so hopefully the next time we revisit this hotel we could give these a try!
