Hello, I have booked two executive level rooms with lounge access for my family of 5, including my 75yr old father.
When we arrived the hotel had nicely prepared two room on level 39. When we went up, we feel that the entire level 39,including both room has a strong musty smell. We initially thought it was due to rainy seasons that carpet were not dry. I could sleep well the entire night. Both my wife and father woke up the next day having allergen attack symptoms. Realized it was due to the air-condition system, throwing out musty, unclean and contaminated air into the rooms.
Immediately feedback to front desk, asking for dehumidifier or change of rooms. Hotel stuff explained tat the smell was due to rainy seasons and all dehumidifier were loan out. I insist a change of rooms. in the afternoon, we got a room on level 38 and 24. On level 38 there is still a musty smell. However, on level 24 there was no musty smell at all. Rooms sheet smell clean.
I strongly urged all to book only the regular rooms on lower floor, Never to book the executive level. I have also attached a photo of the executive lobby mirror having molds and rust. Clearly the executive level air-condition system has some problem. It really feel like staying in a low end ******* hotel.
