Easily accessible location and near shopping mall and cultural centre ( within walking distance). Facilities include swimming pools and gym and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.👍

As a loyal guest of Marriott International, I've thoroughly enjoyed my stays at your properties across Japan, Macau, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. Having previously stayed at Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan, I'd like to share some observations from my recent visit:
1. **Bathroom Sink Design Issue**
The bathroom sink in my guest room proved quite impractical. Despite my utmost care while washing hands, water consistently splashed onto the surrounding countertop, creating constant wetness and inconvenience.
2. **Umbrella Service Unavailability**
I was particularly surprised to find the hotel doesn't offer loaner umbrellas for guests. This stood in stark contrast to my recent experience at JW Marriott Hotel Macau, where umbrellas were available even after checkout. Given the recent severe weather conditions in Shenzhen - including black rainstorm warnings - this service would have been especially valuable.
3. **Swim Cap Policy**
In my stays at JW Marriott hotels across multiple countries, I've never encountered a mandatory swim cap requirement in pool areas. This policy seems unusually restrictive compared to other properties in the brand.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel welcome right away. They provided us with useful information about the hotel amenities and local attractions, which was greatly appreciated.
**Room Quality:**
Our room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The large windows offered stunning views of the city skyline, and the amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee maker, added a nice touch.

The hotel is grand, clean, and beautiful— you will never been disappointed with a Marriott-branded hotel. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon our early arrival at 10 am, well ahead of the usual 2 pm check-in time, they promptly checked us in and provided a room that was available, which left a strong impression on us (by the way the room is spacious!). The hotel location is very convenient, with a nearby shopping mall where we had a wonderful time.

This is the first time we stay in this hotel. The hotel is quite new (built in 2014). Rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. We stay in a double-bed room. Although it is not sea view, the city view outside is great. Toiletries provided is enough. Complimentary bottles of water (4) are provided. But u need to pay for beer, soft drinks, snacks in the room. The price of our package is reasonable. About HKD $1600 including dinner & breakfast buffet for one-night stay. The dinner buffet is good. Various kinds of seafood eg shrimps, clams, spiral shell, lobsters, oysters, crabs are provided. There are also steak, sashimi, cold cut, hot dishes, soups, desserts. Customers can enjoy the dining from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. Breakfast buffet is also delicious with various kinds of egg dishes. Dining environment & service is both good. You feel relaxed & enjoy the meal time.
Followings are some recommendations and suggestions:
1. Transportation:
Shenzhen Metro from Lo Wu to Bao’an Centre station. Although it may take an hour but no need to change line. You can have lunch or shopping at Uni-walk Centre (Luxury brands). It is suggested to take taxi to hotel directly from Centre (RMB 15)
2. Scenic Spots:
You can go to Happy Harbour at night (15-min walk)
Weather not so hot & the spot lights from buildings and Bay Glory Ferris Wheel are beautiful.
After check out, we take taxi to Happy Harbour (ZhongShuge). Taxi fee in only RMB10. It is a famous bookstore for taking photos & shopping. There is Metro station in the basement floor for you to go elsewhere.
3. Swimming Facilities in the hotel
There is one outdoor and one indoor swimming pools. However, users need to wear swim caps.
So I and my friends just go to the Jacuzzi. The resting place inside the changing room is quite hot. Ventilation needed to be improved.
All of us enjoy the hotel stay and would like to visit this place again in the future.

Room is quite big, and it is a big plus that the package already includes breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour with food that can really fill your empty stomach.
Location is excellent as it is just next to the ferris wheel and a huge mall with all kind of shops and entertainment for the whole family.
