Breakfast was healthy and tasty. The hotel staff helped us, who do not speak Chinese, by using a translator and helped us to catch a taxi. Very good access to the city from the hotel. I would stay there again.

The location of the hotel is good, but it's a bit old. The breakfast is also average. I guess they are all steamed buns and snacks bought from the supermarket in the county town. They need to be heated up. It is recommended to improve it. Parking is more convenient

The furniture looked like it had not been updated since the Stone Age, and to make matters worse, the shower leaked, causing water to pool on the floor. To make matters worse, the curtains had visible mildew, a concerning health hazard. The next morning, when I went to enjoy the breakfast that was supposedly included, I was told it was not provided, despite having paid for it. After complaining, I was grudgingly given another room, but no compensation was offered for the inconvenience and false advertising. In addition to the initial issues I encountered, my experience at the East Athens Hotel continued to deteriorate. The replacement room provided also had more issues. The bathtub was clogged and the water was yellow at first, causing serious hygiene issues. In addition, the toilet in the new room was also clogged, adding to the frustration. Seeking help from the hotel staff only led to greater disappointment. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, they directed me to use the public restroom in the spa area, which was not only unsanitary but also lacked basic privacy due to a faulty door lock. Even after requesting assistance with the blocked toilet in the replacement room, the issue was not resolved, which shows a serious lack of competence and care on the part of the hotel staff. Their lack of empathy for my concerns further exacerbated the overall negative experience. Considering the numerous issues I encountered during my stay, it is clear that the East Athens Hotel fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. The guest house is in a state of disrepair. The breakfast is probably 6-7 kinds of rice porridge, eggs, steamed buns and steamed buns.
