Sept All Girls Hostel (Futian Gangxia Subway Station Branch)

I often stay in hostels. This was my first time trying an all-girls hostel. It was warm, safe, and caring, and the sheets and bedding were soft too. Haha

It's very good. It's the cleanest youth hostel I've ever stayed in. The bed is clean, the quilt and pillow are very soft and there's a scent of laundry detergent. The bed curtains are very light-blocking. Since we're all girls, taking a shower isn't awkward. It was really inconvenient to stay in youth hostels where men and women had shared bathrooms. There's a shopping mall downstairs, and there's a whole street selling food underground, connected to the subway station. This youth hostel is also cheap and cost-effective, making it suitable for sisters who travel alone.

I read the reviews and found that some other guests had the same issue as me. And it was the same room. Bed 8 belonged to a long-term tenant for a year. 🥶 I was lucky because the other guest, who was also a long-term tenant, was no longer there. ☺️ If you're looking for a cheap hostel today and happened to find this one, please don't choose beds 8-11 in the 4-person room. Because that's already occupied by the long-term tenants. The wardrobe, dresser, small cabinet, and hallway are completely occupied by their stuff, and they have no sense of responsibility at all. 🙂 On my first night, I asked if the air conditioner could be turned down. Shenzhen's temperature was over 30°C. She kept the temperature at 26°C with the door and windows open, and kept complaining about the cold. If you asked to lower it, she'd immediately get up and turn it back up. 😶🌫️ And she was also very rude. 🫥 I've already reported all my concerns and complaints to the hostel, and they said they wanted to discuss it. However, it seems like nothing was accomplished, and the matter was ultimately abandoned. If they're just trying to cash in on the long-term rentals and leave it alone, For those of you who are traveling or looking for a short-term rental, please be careful... Sharing a room with someone like this is so uncomfortable. I guess I wasn't staying in a hostel, but her home 😶 That bed number 8 is really disgusting... ✅The bed was actually okay. The hostel is directly across from Joy City, so the location is excellent. ✅The customer service is excellent, and the hostel is affordable. ⚠️Long-term tenants are difficult to deal with and get along with. ⚠️There are too many people staying here, and hygiene is poor. The ground floor bathroom is often filthy. Even though they're all girls 🙂 ⚠️It would be nice if the rules were a little stricter. There are often unwashed dishes, dishes left on the table for days, and takeout that hasn't been thrown away.

There's no in-person customer service, only online service. I found the room's location and bed number via WeChat, and checked in online. It was completely different from what I'd imagined. Several packages were piled up at the entrance, and when they were moved, a dead cockroach was found. Upon entering, I discovered several rooms, a mix of four- and six-person rooms. Two people were staying in the four-person room, and they had so much stuff piled up that my friend and I couldn't move around, leaving us with nowhere to move our belongings. The common areas were also filled with other people's belongings, and takeout wasn't collected afterward. There were several rooms within one large room, and the cleanliness was extremely poor. The pillows were yellowed, the sheets were stained, and when I opened the quilt, the stench of stale sweat hit me. Someone checked in late at night, making loud noises without regard for others, and the bathroom was unbearable. Cockroaches were crawling everywhere in the room. In the morning, when I was packing up to leave, a regular female resident returned and, because the room was small, violently kicked my suitcase open (I don't know how hard she kicked it). In short, it was completely different from the hype. The experience was terrible.

The person in charge replied to my message quickly, but arranged for me to stay in another youth hostel. The bed was very uncomfortable, although she added a mattress.
