Hotels near Gankeng Hakka Town in Shenzhen

The hotel is located in the center of tue ancient village, hence very practical to reach restaurants and shops. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The staff is very kind, although couldn’t speak english.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is just before the entrance of Gankeng Ancient Town. There are places to eat, drink and have fun downstairs and around. It is very lively with many people on weekends. Check in at 4pm, the process was very fast and smooth. This time I stayed in a deluxe king room. There is no bathtub, but there is a terrace, where you can have an unobstructed view of the entire village and night market below. The scenery at night is so beautiful!  The hotel room is quite big. The only drawback is that the bathroom has no door. Although the wet and dry parts are separated, the bathroom is not so convenient if you are not a couple. There is no hook to hang clothes. In addition, the shower head leaks and the shower head is thrown out. Unfortunately, the hotel room was not well soundproofed. People kept coming in and out of the partitioned room, and it was very noisy at night and in the morning when it was being opened and closed! Hope the hotel will improve. The hotel has a restaurant - Nanyang Coconut Chicken, which is reasonably priced and delicious, with a nice environment and good service. The most surprising thing is the claypot rice, which is so big and delicious. 

Hotel service - good. Breakfast - Buffet breakfast for 40 yuan, everything is ok. Dinner - We dined at Phoenix Hakka Restaurant on the first night. The food was good, especially the squab. The skin was crispy and delicious. Highly recommended. Rooms - The quietness and air conditioning can be adjusted by yourself, and the rooms are spacious. Security - There are many security guards patrolling in Gankeng Ancient Town. Food markets - all food markets are very reasonably priced. The only drawback - the slippers in the room were a little damp (see photos).

In the Hakka town, it is very convenient to play in it. In order to enjoy the night view, I stayed here, there are more than 200 standard rooms during the National Day holiday. It is very close to the subway entrance of the nucleic acid point, but the check-out is delayed until 2 o'clock. The aunt did not clean up in time, and the manpower is not sufficient. There is no way to check in on time at 2 o'clock. You can only check in at 3 o'clock in the lobby. Elevators require an elevator card to reach the corresponding floor.

Good service. Clean with big rooms. The staff are polite and the requests are addressed promptly.

The room is straight and small, but I think it's okay. Its location is really convenient. It's right at the entrance of the ancient town. The front desk is inside the convenience store. The boss is very warm and polite. Although the room is small, it is very clean. I thought it would be very noisy at the entrance of the ancient town, but it won't be. It's just that the soundproofing of the room door is a bit poor. If someone walks by outside the door, you can hear it inside the room. Another bad thing is the bathroom. There is no dry and wet separation. Even the toilet and toilet paper will get wet after taking a shower. , there is no hot water supply for the wash basin, which is not something I am used to. If you don't mind the small room and bathroom issues, this hotel is still a good choice.

I stayed there between Sept 8~11 2023 and again between Sept 16~22. I am very satisfied on the location (very close to No. 10 metro line's stations, friendliness of the staffs, facility, ability to have the food and other delivered up to the room, etc. Is great for business stay or the family stay for holidays. The only thing, if you have car, the only thing I shall suggest is for the improvement on the parking area. The cars are parked on the two-way driveway of the parking which makes it very dangerous to go into and get out of the underground parking very dangerous. Parking area need to be better organized. Apart from that I only have good things to say about the place and will definitely choose this place again if I visit Shenzhen again.

The homestay is opposite the Vienna Hotel. This homestay is more cost-effective than the Vienna Hotel. The room is large, the room is clean and tidy, the decoration is warm, and it feels like going home. The room facing the street can be viewed. It is suitable for a daze to relieve boredom. It is recommended to have a deluxe twin bed. Will choose next time!

The environment is good, the room is big enough, the sanitation is very good in all aspects, and the price/performance ratio is very high. I also like the gym. The service is also good and will not rush you to check out. Anyway, overall it is very good, very good I will stay at Juzijia again when traveling on business in the future.

This time, we were a group of 6 people, 4 adults and 2 children. We booked 2 rooms, 1 room with 2 beds and 1 room with 1 bed. The location was OK, about 10 minutes walk from the subway. The gentleman at the counter was polite. We went to the second room by mistake. Check in, they will immediately call a car to take our group of people to the correct location to check in, and also give us frozen milk tea to quench our thirst, but we are a little bit dissatisfied that they did not write down the order to go to Bianli Building to check in first. We had no choice but to try our luck and choose 1. Seeing their contingency measures, I guess we were not the first ones to find the wrong place. The rooms are clean. Each room comes with 4 bottles of water, 1 bottle of milk and 1 can of drinks. There are also candies on the coffee table. The children are very happy to see them. Each room has a washing machine. You can wash dirty clothes immediately after playing for a day. I However, the shortcoming is that I guess the 2-bed room has been rented by long-term renters. It is slightly moldy on the wall, but we accepted it because we stayed for one night. The water in the shower room is OK, but the water power is a bit insufficient, such as A bigger one is better, and the 1-bed room is relatively newly decorated, and there is no mold at all. However, the water in the shower is a bit slow. I am worried about water leakage when taking a shower and do not dare to leave it for too long. You don’t need to buy breakfast. It’s relatively simple. ¥75 is not worth it.
