Great hotel in a great location inside Dapeng Fortress. It's a small, intimate and friendly boutique style hotel and will take you back in time. The loft style rooms are amazing (the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep) and the bed is the most comfortable bed we've slept on in a hotel for ages. The hotel has a restaurant and the food looked and smelled amazing (although we didn't eat there). There is a great little bar with a good selection of refreshments. The host is super friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Great location. Highly recommended and we will stay there again if we go back to Dapeng.

The experience of catching sand crabs at night is really good and meaningful! The next day I went to the beach for a swim, and the boss offered to lend me a motorcycle. On weekends, I took my mother to Dapeng City to stroll around and chose the suite of this homestay. The overall situation is OK. It’s a low cost performance. The advantage is that the location of the homestay is high, and the view is good and will not be blocked by other buildings. The balcony is large, and it is definitely comfortable to drink tea on the balcony if the weather is good. The hot water in the room, the beds are ok, they are also very clean, the room is very bright, and the living is more comfortable. The location is next to the east gate of Dapengsuocheng. It is very convenient to go to Dongshan Temple. It takes ten minutes to walk along the east gate. Downstairs is the restaurant, it is very convenient to eat but there will be a smell of oily smoke. This depends on personal preference. The bad thing is that the two double-headed sockets next to the living room sofa are bad, TV is bad, and you can't watch sporting events - pay-for-demand TV shows and movies, and the screens keep flashing. The layout of the room is more doubtful to me. The reasonable suite can accommodate 3 or 4 people, but the shower and bathtub are connected to the bedroom open, not suitable for two families or a few friends to travel, very embarrassing. But couples travel, it is a twin room, it seems that my daughter takes her mother out to play more suitable hahahaha, but two people living in the suite is really quite big, and can not use the mahjong machine in the room.

Great location a few steps from the beach entrance, and amazing estuary views. Chill vibes and good breakfast options. Just make sure you ask what’s included as the free breakfast options as not all the menu apply. Staff don’t speak English but check-in was easy. Has more of a western-backpacker-hostel vibe in some sections, but could really benefit with more cleaning and maintenance. All around good budget stay close to the beach.
