Shenyang Shenhe District Hotels

I'm a local from Shenyang, and for Qixi Festival, I wanted to try something different. This time, I booked a Horizon Club Garden View Room at Shangri-La. The view was fantastic, and in the evening, I could even take a stroll in Youth Park downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent; it connects directly to Kerry Centre Shopping Mall and MixC City underground, making shopping 🛍️ and dining incredibly convenient. **Ambiance:** Shangri-La has a classic, slightly dated feel in its traditional Chinese decor, but it still exudes a stately and comfortable elegance. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn't find any neglected spots in the room. **Facilities:** While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, in particular, was uncomfortable for me. The standard pillows were very soft, and the mattress was also quite soft, which didn't provide enough support for a comfortable sleep. This can be easily resolved by requesting latex or buckwheat pillows from the front desk, or asking to remove the feather topper from the mattress. (I personally prefer a combination of firm and soft elements for bedding.) Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's swimming pool is heated. I had researched it before checking in, so I brought my swimsuit. It wasn't crowded, the water was very clean, and the lifeguard was constantly by the poolside, very dedicated. My partner and I swam 30 laps on the day we checked in – it was fantastic. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. I arrived before 1 PM, and since there was a vacant room, they arranged for me to check in immediately. Although it was a connecting room, it was very quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. However, if available, I would still try to avoid connecting rooms. Since I booked an executive floor room, I had access to the 30th-floor executive lounge. I'm not an elite member, but the overall service and hospitality were excellent and thoughtful. They offer soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The afternoon tea is simple, with soft drinks and some light bites, but sitting by the window on the 30th floor with its expansive view and relaxing is a truly pleasant experience. The evening Happy Hour can also be quite satisfying if your expectations aren't too high, offering hot and cold dishes, along with alcoholic beverages. Now for the highlight: the Horizon Club breakfast was truly something to look forward to! The à la carte menu offered high-quality dishes, and as a foodie, I was absolutely delighted. It's more distinctive than a standard five-star breakfast. I would definitely return just for this breakfast!

I really loved the decor style of the Fengtianyuan Hotel rooms; staying there was very relaxing. They had a mini-fridge, a computer desk, or a bar area, and everything was clean and well-maintained. They also provided plenty of bottled water. There are many delicious night markets nearby with lots of great food options. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, even assisting us with luggage storage, which was a huge plus. I do have two small suggestions: 1. Please promptly repair any broken or malfunctioning door locks (room or bathroom) to avoid inconveniencing guests and affecting their stay. 2. It would be great if the breakfast selection could be more diverse, and please regularly check for any spoiled food. On our second day, I poured some soy milk but didn't drink it because it tasted off. Overall, if the hotel implements these two suggestions, I would gladly stay for a whole week, given enough holiday time. I wish Fengtianyuan Hotel all the best!

Great location! Closest hotel to the U.S Consulate. Just a 3-minute walk away. Plenty of food options, and a supermarket across the street. Friendly staff, good size room, and good value for money. Would stay again!

It's quite embarrassing to say. I was hanging out with my boyfriend, but when I checked his phone at the hotel I discovered that he had cheated on me. I immediately kicked him out. After all, we had been together for too long. I was really sad. I went downstairs to look for him and found that he was really gone. He had disappeared without a trace. Girls are too emotional. I was so sad that I burst into tears. The lady at the front desk of the hotel heard the noise and came over. She immediately helped me to the sofa. I was already in a half-conscious state from crying. I just felt like I was lifted up to the sofa. The lady at the front desk, Shi Yi, was really gentle because I was I was physically weak, so she let me lean on her shoulder to wipe my tears. I was crying and had a runny nose, and I wiped all of my tears onto her hands. She didn't dodge, and after I calmed down, she asked me what happened and advised me for a long time. She even added me on her WeChat. When she got off work, she was still worried about me, so she went to my room to comfort me for a long time and brought me a lot of snacks. Oh my god, she really spoiled me like my sister does at home. This stay in the hotel was really warm. Without Miss Shi Yi at the front desk of the Mehao Lizhi Hotel, I really don't know how I would have made it through it alone. I feel like I have been reborn since then, and I hope the hotel will do better and better.

Warm and Memorable Stay at Conrad Shenyang During our stay at Conrad Shenyang, the exceptional service truly impressed us. While the hotel’s location, facilities, and stunning views are fantastic, it’s the thoughtful care from the staff that made our visit unforgettable. When my daughter fell ill and missed breakfast, Room Division Manager Robert kindly set aside some bread for her. The Front Office Guest Services Manager helped arrange medication and even coordinated with the restaurant to prepare millet porridge outside regular hours. Special thanks to Night Guest Services Manager Tom and his team, who went out of their way to assist us with an urgent matter involving local government. Their care made us, as overseas Chinese, feel truly at home. This wonderful experience has deepened our love for China. We are very grateful and highly recommend Conrad Shenyang to all travelers.

The location is absolutely superb. The hotel building is visible as soon as you exit Zhongjie Subway Station, and it's just a two to three-minute walk away. It was incredibly convenient to grab food and drinks nearby after a day out. I found it quite unique that the hotel lobby was located on the 7th floor, but check-in was super fast. With three elevators, we never had to wait long to go up or down. The room itself was great – very spacious, with windows offering views of Zhongjie Street and the Imperial Palace. The shower had excellent water pressure and a perfect temperature. It even had a mini-fridge, which was handy for chilling beers and yogurts for later. While the carpet and a few minor areas showed some signs of age, these were truly insignificant issues. The housekeeping staff were all incredibly polite. Breakfast, also on the 7th floor, offered a great variety of dishes. The prawn noodles, in particular, were absolutely delicious.

I enjoyed my stay here and the staffs were very kind and helpful. Especially I would like to thank Eric for his kind help and whenever and wherever possible that he offered us. Point to be noted is that me and mate didn’t have any knowledge about the local language yet we didn’t feel it anywhere hindering us from expressing our thoughts to him. He was genuinely kind and helpful. Another person that was of great assistance to us was Yolanda. Thanks for making our stay in Shenyang wonderful

We drove from Beijing to Shenyang and chose to stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang. The hotel has an underground parking lot and is less than 2 kilometers from the Shenyang Imperial Palace. We got there in about 10 minutes by shared bike. It's also not far from Wang Houyuan Dumpling Restaurant. The room facilities are quite good. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bathroom even had a clothesline and plenty of hangers, which is better than many hotels. The hotel's breakfast buffet wasn't particularly delicious, but the variety was decent. It would be even better if they offered tofu pudding or freshly ground soy milk.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, within a 3-4 km radius of major areas like the Forbidden City, Zhongjie Street, and K11 business districts, and MixC City is also within walking distance. Free parking is available, and the entrance is convenient and easy to find. Guest rooms are situated on the 30th floor and above, offering fantastic city and night views. The rooms are well-equipped with new facilities, all amenities are spotless, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is good and offers a decent variety. There's even a food delivery robot service that brings orders right to your room door. The staff are warm and welcoming, making this a hotel you definitely won't regret staying at.

This hotel turned out to be surprisingly great. I was initially debating whether to book a guesthouse or a hotel in Shenyang. While guesthouses were more affordable, I had concerns about their cleanliness, so I ultimately decided to book this hotel. **Amenities:** All the facilities are brand new. With a smart AI assistant, everything is largely hands-free. **Cleanliness:** Our room, at least, was spotless, and the cleaning staff tidied it daily. Overall, we were very satisfied with both our stay and the dining experience.
