Family-friendly Hotels in Shenyang

The location is very convenient, near Shenyang Railway Station and near the pedestrian street. The staff can speak English and they are very welcoming! The room basically has got everything that you might need inside and it’s also very clean! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will come back for sure 👍🏼

Jody at the front desk was professional and friendly. The bathtub was the best thing about our stay and the fact that it's pet friendly. The breakfast is advertised as ”International” but nothing is even remotely on an international standard, bland, mediocre and poorly managed. It is listed as RMB85 but is more in a RMB30-40 range. The restaurant staff is not professional. They should be able to help guests that aren't on the prepaid list without making a scene. Using the spa facilities was a bit of a mission. You have to phone reception and then they send a staff member to the spa desk. Everything is turned off so it takes a while to heat up. The jacuzzi was a bit cold and not that enjoyable. The sauna was awesome. Only one elevator was working (out of three) so expect to wait between 5 and 10 minutes each time.

Great experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!! Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted. Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it. Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

Great hotel in the middle of Shenyang. Was a perfect stay for a weekend of vacation (couple, no kids). Clean, friendly service, great breakfast. Wifi worked well too.

We have stayed at Sofitel twice now. It is a beautiful hotel, great rooms, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast buffet and friendly staff. This hotel is conveniently located to several nice malls, many restaurants, parks and the US Embassy.

The room is clean, bright and comfortable, and the experience is great👍And the hotel is very close to the Shenyang Forbidden City and the Marshal's Mansion, with convenient transportation👍I especially recommend their Doubletree specialty cookies. Each person is given one when they first check in, which is very delicious. 👍. I also gave a small gift when I checked out, which was full of surprises and full of festive atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant hotel as always, whenever we come to ShenYang we stay here, A Lawson's downstairs means you always have access to food and drink and the Lawson's means awesome coffee in the morning. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Hotel Jen is a super hotel

The hotel architecture is absolutely beautiful. Anywhere I walk within the hotel is spacious, modern and really just gorgeous. I definitely wished I could have stayed longer - the bed and bathtub themselves were beyond cozy. The swimming pool is crystal blue, open all year round, and kept at 28 celcius. Daily kitchen is located on the top floor with, again, beautiful architect and window views. Hospitality of the staff was well beyond also. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the attendant lead me out of my taxi and insisted on carrying my bags, while more attendants kept opening doors for me and leading me to the front desk and then to my room. They explained everything while in my room too. The front desk lady offered me late check out right upon request. And the friendly waitress in the daily kitchen stayed within my presence just so she could be attentive to all my needs. I truly have never felt so welcomed in a hotel before.

The hotel is located in the center of Zhongjie. It is just outside Exit C of Zhongjie Station on Metro Line 1. It is very convenient! You can walk to the Shenyang Forbidden City and Zhang Xueliang’s former residence! There are many surprises in the room, and the details are in place! The coffee is very fragrant, and the black tea and green tea in the refrigerator also taste clear, which is worth looking forward to! The drinking water prepared is enough to make up for the dry weather in Shenyang! Apart from the heat, there was nothing wrong with the room! In addition, the lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and provides considerate and thoughtful service! Like 👍!
