Upstairs in the Handu International Hotel, contact the boss directly in the lobby and someone will come down to guide you. If you are driving, you can ask the boss where to park. You can get 10 yuan a day for reporting the boss's name, which is very cost-effective.
The room is very clean. I like to lie on the bed and watch movies the most. The bed is more comfortable than the one in the hotel and the screen is bigger. It's just a pleasure.

The ”Little Europe District” on Zhongshan Lu, with Western restaurants and sidewalk cafes, is walking distance. 9th floor facilities are great--gym, pool table, Western restaurant, patio dining (no wifi, though). 23rd floor partment 1-br suite was great for the price: not luxurious but clean and well-maintained, comfy bed, kitchen with basic equipment (convection stove, not gas, unfortunately), no noise, no odors. Friendly English-speaking staff. Overall a very pleasant stay. I will come again.

The first time I stayed at Atour, it really gave me a great experience. The first time I came to Shenyang, the temperature in Shenyang was a bit low, and I had a little cold. I went to the restaurant for breakfast in the morning. When I talked, the voice was a little nasal. My nasal sound may be heard when my room number is asked. When I chose a meal to eat, I brought me a bowl of hot noodle soup, and there was actually a poached egg inside. The eldest sister said, Is it a cold to hear you talk and have a nose? I said yes, the eldest sister said that hurry up and eat hot noodle soup, your body is warm, just sweat, I also asked me to go out and wear more. Shenyang has cooled down in the past two days. It is really warm. I have been cured at once. After eating hot soup noodles, I feel that I have a cold. I have been warm. I have heard that Atour's service is very good. This time I really experienced it. It's really like a family. I selected home Inn again instead of the nearest hotel to the rail station because I treated the quality. The room is very clean, only flaw is the window is high and the side table in room 1302 is scratched.
Love the reception area and the ladies who served me. There's a coffee place behind the reception as well and the service is excellent. Feel free to buy morning coffee from them.
It's walking distance to both Taiyuan metro station & Shenyang station. There's a massage place and a 串串restaurant near by. The prices are good and portions are huge!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The level of service provided by the staff was impeccable, and the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was commendable. While the room price included breakfast for two, we were unable to avail of this offer due to our fasting during Ramadan. However, we definitely plan to take advantage of it next time.
The hotel is situated in a quiet area, surrounded by numerous shops, and is a convenient 30-minute drive from the city center. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained.
One minor suggestion for improvement would be to address the issue of doors banging early in the morning when the cleaning staff enters the rooms. It startled us a few times until we got accustomed to it. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

ZZkkGreat experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!!
Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted.
Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it.
Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

AAnonymous UserDecent. Room is spacious and have sufficient heating and looks good inside. Plenty of drinking water provided. Near a small food market, the small Palace and alot of shopping malls around if you're into shopping.
However most of the nightlife situated elsewhere, (15-30minutes by cab)
If you goal is just to see the historical attractions and eat some street food, and walk around shopping malls and have a nice place to sleep, it is a good place to stay.
Cons, no smoking area/ room, no spa, gym is pathetic. Big hotel but nothing much. Been to smaller hotels with more amenities.
The new counter staffs are more service orientated than the senior ones. My room card was disabled 4 hours before I checkout. Inconvenience for that last 4 hours, went to the receptionist and she couldn't even extend it but I had to tell the receptionist everytime I wish to open the room door for a room which I had paid for. Just a small simple act of extending my room card and it could not be done automatically.
Newer receptionists service are good. Senior ones are arrogant.
Overall ok, but not value for money.

GGuest UserI had been stayed in the hotel twice from 18 May 2023. The first stay was booked through trip.com while the 2nd stay was booked through the hotel directly.
The hotel is located at a very good position. The river bank park is within 5 mins walking and it is not bad and good for morning or evening walk.
The bed sheets are very clean and comfortable. 4-6 bottles of complimentary drinking water are provided a day
The staff of the hotel are very helpful and friendly. I had a document to copy in an evening time when the shops were closed due to the late hours. I just passed by the receiption area, so I just asked the staff at the counter if they have a copying machine. In fact, they don't have a photo copier. They just have a printer with copy function. The printer is installed at a pretty low position, and need to squat down to operate it. Xiao Song, a very friendly and nice lady, helped me to make 2 copies of my document while she needed to serve other clients at the counter at the same time. She had to squat down few times to complete the whole document. Thank you so much Xiao Song.
The hotel lift is a bit slow and waiting time is a bit longer. You may need to press the same button more than once for a ride.

CChestnutTravelsThe room was nice however overall this hotel was below our expectations in a few ways, given the price paid.
1) The check in process took 15 minutes and was quite frustrating with repeated questions. We are foreigners (but speak Chinese), so our passports had to be registered, however the steps could have all been done by taking a photo of our passport rather than us standing there after a long journey. It would also be better if they could have just asked us to sit down to wait, or told us approximately how long this process would take.
2) There are only two slow lifts servicing the entire building, with the amenities and reception floor on level 26, which is on a separate floor to all of the guest rooms. During peak times we waited a long time for lifts.
3) There are not enough laundry machines (only 2 washers and dryers) and we had to wait every time.
4) The gym is too basic. No weights, mats or aircon.
5) the daily housekeeping is not comprehensive. We were out of tissue paper for 4 out of the 5 days we stayed, and the rubbish was not always cleared.

I am on a temporary business trip to Shenyang. I don’t wear thick clothes. The little girl is cold and warm. She is caring. She didn’t eat in Shenyang in the middle of the night. The little girl also recommended me a super delicious nightingale nearby. I went downstairs the next morning. The staff at the front desk was very enthusiastic to ask if it was cold today. You pay attention to keep warm. It is indeed a very warm, very good hotel. I will stay in Shenyang next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel architecture is absolutely beautiful. Anywhere I walk within the hotel is spacious, modern and really just gorgeous. I definitely wished I could have stayed longer - the bed and bathtub themselves were beyond cozy. The swimming pool is crystal blue, open all year round, and kept at 28 celcius. Daily kitchen is located on the top floor with, again, beautiful architect and window views. Hospitality of the staff was well beyond also. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the attendant lead me out of my taxi and insisted on carrying my bags, while more attendants kept opening doors for me and leading me to the front desk and then to my room. They explained everything while in my room too. The front desk lady offered me late check out right upon request. And the friendly waitress in the daily kitchen stayed within my presence just so she could be attentive to all my needs. I truly have never felt so welcomed in a hotel before.

NNuonuoxiaIt takes less than an hour to get to the hotel from the airport, which is not too close, but there is no traffic jam on the road. The hotel heating temperature is suitable. I booked a boutique standard twin room in the villa area and received 2 hot spring tickets for free on the day of check-in. The hotel is 70 square meters, has an indoor hot spring, and a relatively large living room area, making the stay more comfortable. The day we checked in was New Year's Eve, and the hotel even sent us dumplings, which were delicious. For hotel takeout, you can order from Lawson which has good reviews. There are also ice sculptures in the hotel, and the hotpot pork in the bathing center restaurant is also quite delicious and not expensive. The bathing center is very large so it's not crowded at all. Many people set off fireworks on New Year's Eve, which is full of New Year flavor and a great experience.

ZZhenzhenwszOverall a good hotel with large rooms and complete facilities. It is next to a large shopping mall. The location is very good and the price/performance ratio is very high.
But there are no beds at all in the high-rise buildings, and the rooms still have a bit of a smell.
The breakfast was so-so. When I went there at 9 o'clock, there were not many choices, and the milk and fruits were not replenished.
