Photos: 1. entry lobby. 2. lounge area. 3. another lounge area. 4. seafood soup on the patio, with Longquan beach view. 5. GouqiDao dock is 3 minute walk. 6. Longquan village lady repairing fishing nets. 7. Hostel sells drinks and very delicious food!
The private room looks just like the Trip.com image. Very clean. Bed is very firm futon-style w/2 pillow choices. Window gives sound of waves & fresh sea breeze. Aircon also works well, if needed.
Excellent hot water in the all-in-one bathroom. Water pressure was powerful. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, hair dryer all provided.
Hostel is 2 minute walk to Longquan Beach & 2 minute walk to bus stop, very convenient location. Bus costs 3¥ & hostel owner will graciously explain transport to other villages, other beaches, and to Houtouwan (abandoned village--it's fantastic!) on Shengshan island--round trip by bus is 12¥.
This hostel is a perfect choice for budget-minded travelers who want clean, inexpensive, no-fills lodging. The friendly, knowledgeable owner, who was previously a teacher, speaks a bit of English, and is a very fine cook! Ask her about food--her meal prices are very reasonable and it's fresh.

The lady boss is very welcoming. The room is very close to Longquan Beach. I can also fall asleep to the sound of waves like Shakyamuni.

I like their atmosphere very much. I want to give my cat to the boss sister so that the cat can live a good life. Although it is a youth hostel, it is no worse than a hotel. (The hotels on the island are of varying quality. Instead of spending five or six hundred to find a so-so one, it is better to have the boss sister's youth hostel.) The house is warm and romantic, and there is a breath of life everywhere. It's so romantic to face the sea and watch them paint.

Very good, really satisfied. Came during the May Day holiday, so the scenery was beautiful with few people. Unfortunately, the weather suddenly changed. We originally planned to stay for two nights, but due to bad weather, we had to change our plan to stay for one night.

Thanks to the ladies for all the help during my stay. Although it is a youth hostel, the hygiene is not inferior to other hotels on the island, and the service is five-star.
