I've never had such a poor experience with a hotel until I experienced this one.  I showed up to this property on April 1st after booking weeks in advance to be told I couldn't stay there because my reservation had been canceled.  Canceled by who is still the pending question that I never received an answer for. I get to the hotel to check in & the ”hotel manager” initially tells me that she doesn't see a reservation for me.  I stated that I booked through hotels.com & showed her the confirmation/itinerary email.  She then goes back to her computer to say that my reservation was canceled on March 30th, but couldn't tell me who & why the reservation was canceled.  She was short & rude in telling me that the hotel was now fully booked & then directed me to call hotels.com. When I called,  they also confirmed that my reservation was not canceled & called the hotel directly to get feedback on what may be going on.  The whole time my family & I are standing in the lobby of the hotel with no accommodations, room,  nothing. She then tells the rep well the room was canceled & we're booked now so there's nothing she can do.  We later figured out that the hotel overbooked & mysteriously, my reservation was ”canceled”. No warning or confirmation of the cancelation. Not sure how or why that happened,  but I will never recommend anyone stay at this hotel. Find another one. Your money should be spent where it's appreciated. If an establishment inconveniences you,  they should at least have the common courtesy to be nice & apologetic regardless of the situation.
