Days Inn by Wyndham Shelby

Bare minimum The pictures over sold this property. The pool was supposed to be open for Memorial Day but wasn’t. Didn’t appear to be any priority. Not what I expected . Just good enough to to leave.

Although not a fancy place, was EXTREMELY clean and well maintained. Had problem with TV, which was immediately resolved. No negative issues at all.

It was better than what was expected especially for the price but we were very pleased and would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Refrigerator not cold. Bathroom sink had toothpaste spots on faucets

The room phones did not work, the mini fridge was disgusting, we could not find the remote( the man at the front desk did bring us one after me having to call him on my cell phone since the room phones did not work) the app remote did not work. I called back down for my cell phone to the front desk and a lady answered and told me I had to come down and get one. I told her my child was sleeping so the same man did come and he pulled out. I guess what you call the TV console and found the room remote behind that and it was absolutely disgusting. The door coming into the room was so shady. You had a hard time opening and closing it. it looked like something out of a jailhouse everywhere you went smell like you were in a smoke fest not just tobacco. The rooms walls were paper thin you could hear everything from the other rooms. It was extremely loud. It was not a place that I would recommend for a family.

Disappointed in Shelby This motel seemed poorly managed with no wifi service, dirty bathroom and living areas, and a refridgerator that was carrying huge ice floes inside - I felt like I was on the titanic about to go under. I won't go back to this one, and I am reconsidering using days inn for future needs.
