Stayed for one night as had a spa day booked down the road the next day. We arrived just after 7pm and I had received a text to say what our room was and that the key was inside. No problems with finding a place to park. Entered up some extremely squeaky stairs to an unmanned reception. The decor was very dated but doesn't bother me personally. The room - 25 We entered to a good sized room with ensuite bathroom. The walls seemed all tatty and stained. Carpet didn't appear too bad but I would suggest not walking around bare feet. Old furniture and mattresses. Beds however were fairly comfortable and sheets appeared to be clean but I wouldn't trust that they were. Bedsides lamps did not work. Walls very thin. We had young children next door so could hear them when we first got there. Had kettle and few tea and coffee bits. The bathroom- Did not look like it was adequately cleaned. Had towels, bath mat and little soaps and shampoo. Shower was okay. We never saw any member of staff check in or check out so you would have struggled if you wanted to talk to someone however I believe there was a number on the text. We only had one night so could put up with it but definitely wouldn't stay again. Quite tatty and skanky. Advise to hotel: Just a lick of paint and a deep clean would do wonders. ideally a refurb too. -We just want to add he had a Turkish meal next door and it was lovely! Will do a separate review for that.

Honestly, this place is basic, and it’s cheap. Was looking for somewhere to stay with my daughter and her friend before a Craig David concert. I traveled 5 hours to get here and they text me with details on how to access the place if arriving after 9:30pm which I was. That removed the worry of not getting there on time. Basic rooms and basic amenities but there’s a hot shower, tv and a comfy bed. For £35 you really can’t go wrong. Having 2 teenage girls getting ready for a concert, taking their time as they do. I went to find someone to enquire about late checkout, the young lad I spoke to told me not to worry and to leave when we’re ready. All in all a perfectly good experience. Went for a walk around Shefford this morning which is a lovely place too. Will be stopping here again if I ever have the misfortune of attending another Craig David concert. Thanks!

This Hotel is in dire need of improvement the room(29) was extremely tired and outdated still with keys to open rooms when most hotels opt for the key card although the room was clean there where many faults with the room although this hotel is excellent location it does need an urgent refit

Hands down one of the worst places I have ever stayed in my entire life.. the whole place stunk of cigarette smoke, but it is apparently a non-smoking hotel… my room overlooked the dustbins which had regular rodent visitors at night… the shower was terrible with a dirty stained shower curtain… the carpets stains were gross, I couldn’t walk around bare foot.. random bits of furniture stacked in my room..sweaty drip stains on the walls… I could go on and on!!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS HELL HOLE!!

Don’t bother. Dirty, stained sheets. Mould (I think) in bath. Outdated, by 40yrs. Walls so thin, the conversion next door was overheard over our TV! No hot water. Toilet flush broken (lever stayed down) No plugs anywhere near the bed. Left/checked out, before we unpacked. Stayed 3 hours. (Enough time to briefly rest and go back home)

Awful Hotel, do not stay! Dirty hotel and rooms with rubbish on staircase, damaged and scruffy furniture, uneven bed, dirty bath . . the list goes on. This was a business booking for two nights and after looking at the rooms, he decided there was no way there were going to stay so we had to pay for another hotel. We had constant calls and whatapp message's hassling us for an ETA with threats that they would not let us in if they we were going to be late back. I then received a number of inappropriate Whatsapp messages with tik tok videos from a staff member there at 12.30am! No refund given as they didnt see anything wrong with it!!! AVOID!!!!

Where do I even start. Firstly, the hotel itself feels like it’s falling apart, and not in a traditional “rustic” way. The lobby’s floorboards wobble and creak, with their stains covered by the overly dim lighting. The room wasn’t small, however the good things stop about there. The bathroom lights did not work. The floor was covered in plastic peelings from the chair, in addition to the dead flies. The bedding was awful; the duvet and pillows seems as if they were made from the same material as sponges, with sheets like sandpaper. I understand this place isn’t meant to be the Ritz, but charging £70p/n is extortionate. The TV worked, though it’s remote didn’t. I only had it on so the background noise of the other TVs in the hotel was diluted. The walls were paper thin. This excessive noise wasn’t helped by the hotel being on a main roundabout; If you find it difficult to sleep due to noise or bedding, DO NOT STAY HERE! The room had tea making facilities, of which I had no trouble with. However some other facilities, which are normally expected for £70p/n, weren’t available. These would include a hairdryer, iron, and possibly even a Safe of some kind. In summary, this hotel is NOT worth staying at. Being an independent hotel, I know that they would struggle with lowering the prices. However, for £70p/n, this place is daylight robbery. I would say this place would be worth a maximum of £30p/n, most likely even less.

Me my husband and son stayed for one night thank god, it is not worth £10 a night never mind charging £65 the carpet was all frayed ripped and needed hoovered the bathroom floor was all worn we did have 3 towels but always take my own it is old worn and not clean my husband pulled the single beds sheet off and it was all stained up the sides I had to hide it from my son as he would of had a bleach bath the double bed was old and mattress was well worn I would recommend this bxb to be closed down it's a shame as it does have potential the restaurant doesn't belong the the bxb and it was a 5 star Turkish restaurant beautiful staf was amazing also the owner from the restaurant should take over the bxb to turn it over as located in a good place .. ⛔DO. NOT STAY HERE ⛔ if in the area you must try the restaurant it's amazing ✅ I only give 1 star as wouldn't take review with out one it's definitely a 0 star .....

What an absolute pile of mammoth droppings. No hot water, no towels, dirty pillows, apauling mess outside room window (including overflowing sewer), and mould blossoming from the ceilings. 0 out of 10 from me, DO NOT STAY HERE!.
