I stayed at the hotel on Sunday till Tuesday, with my partner we had all intentions of wandering around Sheffield city centre but within 5 minutes of booking in we felt so welcome it was amazing. We came down from our room and it’s also a pub that is for members and guests, the attention and warmth we received was something we had never experienced before, the guests mixing with the locals you feel like you have all known each other for years. We had looked at reviews and was apprehensive but this is a hotel we have already booked into in December I understand if you want to go to a hotel with a person behind a desk and don’t want any human contact, but if you want to experience Sheffield and a warm friendly welcoming place this is the one thankyou to the owner and all the staff we can’t wait to see you very soon.

Misinformation Photos are misinformation and not show the true horror of a hotel. The room smells like something died, not think it's a homeless person, because a homeless person wouldn't stay here. Chernobyl has much better cleanliness and hygiene than this hotel. Be careful with your money because if you don't like hotel, you need start a war to get a refund. Warning stay away do not believe photos or 5 star reviews

Fantastic venue with descent friendly bar with loads of character & characters. Food available thr burgers 🍔 was tasty Beers garden was great with sky TV outside also & football table Book breakfasts next day & was full English Out this world Will be back Don Valley Keep up the great work 👍

Nice clean rooms with comfy bed had a great nights sleep was nice a quite time when we were there quite at night time. Plenty of room to get ready nice view into the beer garden with the lovely painting on the nice and e wall. Staff so warm and friendly and good bar nice atmosphere and clean and tidy. Will recommend people to stay when visiting Sheffield.

i have stayed at this hotel twice before and found it a pleasant experience. so i booked again . Terrible choice i was given room 7 and to say it was tiny ( even the barmaid said it was tiny) was an understatement . it was ridiculous !!! the shower was ok but everything was so claustrophobic . last time i stayed i was given a spacious clean room for the same price ! room 7 should be £20 a night because it was literally half the size . i had a very curt txt message when i tied to contact the hotel to book in . very rude!i will never stay here again !!! please if you book avoid room 7

We booked here last minute as we travelled from wales to a Bryan Adam’s concert and we had an amazing time ! Met so many lovely people and the locals, staff and owners were so friendly and fun , it made the stay extra special . Really lovely place if you are going to a concert you should definitely stay here .

Lovely friendly place good food social environment. Near to Meadowhall and surrounding area. Fresh food available games room and outdoor patio area. Staff very friendly and obligingly. Clean and well maintained. Rooms available for parties and overnight stay
