Second visit to ShanShui Inn. Again, the experience was just what I was looking for. Friendly, attentive and helpful service. Convenient location as a base to explore nearby sites. Calming, small space with an outlook over the river. Homely, a little quirky and a luxury bath to unwind in each day. Perfect space to stay for expats as well as Chinese couples/families.

Parking at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient and the front desk is good.
There was a little accident when the charge was made. The front desk charged an extra room. I didn't find it myself. Then the front desk called the room to explain the situation and returned it to me in cash.
The hotel room is very large, but the table is a little stained, the overall design has no main light, and the light at night is not strong. The bed is still soft, and people who don't like to sleep on soft beds will sleep uncomfortable.
It is highly recommended to add a palm mattress that can give customers who like to sleep on hard beds an alternative.
Hotel breakfast is more general, but it is enough.

Because there are elderly people and pets, I can just stroll on the platform for leisure. A very good hotel, newly renovated, and great value for money. The price-performance ratio is really high. Let me talk about the facilities first: very new, the faucet in the bathroom is shiny, and the toilet and wash basin are new.
Hygiene: also very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable.
Environment: very good. The room is well lit, with large windows and ventilation.
Service: very good, the check-in procedure is fast, just report the name of the reservation, scan your face and get the room card to enter the room. My wife and I stayed here while traveling. The location is very good. It’s right in the main commercial street. It’s very convenient for shopping, eating and traveling. It’s right next to the RT-Mart supermarket. The room is the same as the picture, on the second floor facing the street, with a large space and a good layout. The children like it very much because there are toys in the room. The only thing that I am not used to is that the bathroom light is a little dim, and the breakfast is very average. The parking lot is a bit crowded. Three hotels share a yard. If you arrive late, you may have to park outside the yard by the road. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk to Yuliangba and Huizhou Ancient City respectively. There is a seafood restaurant in the yard, the taste is very good.

When we came to Huangshan to blindly choose this hotel, the main things we valued were the Hui-style style and garden facilities. We could also arrange pick-up from the station (airport), the driver was on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, the hotel decoration was simple and elegant, warm and comfortable, and the service was enthusiastic, so we talked to the driver Master Sheng paid for the chartered car and we stayed for 3 days under his warm and thoughtful arrangements. He also introduced the sightseeing projects and I was very satisfied with the itinerary! The hotel's breakfast is also good, with a variety of varieties and delicious food. Fantastic little little hotel with great service
If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away.
Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time.
The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional.
The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable.
The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

🛖 Wood structure building, carved beams and painting buildings are antique, clean and tidy, and the infrastructure is complete; you can view the small cockroaches upstairs, and you can play a few games at any time.
🧒 The boss is a cheerful and enthusiastic young lady. She is clear to the ancient city and nearby attractions. She accurately recommends dishes + places. She ate authentic and delicious stinky salmon, rice wine, hairy tofu and scallion oil shrimp! There is also a chance to unlock surprises and happiness on the code (doge.jpg)

TTipuxiI have been to WHS for three consecutive years, hiking, and cycling is my best charging station. I am very familiar with every corner here, even the people in the village know it. This time I stayed for the longest time. I lived with the digital travellers for a week. I lived super comfortable. I got up early every day for mindfulness, climbing mountains, and cycling. I was so happy. (I can't finish the photo, I don't want to go home)

GGuest UserThe inn is in the ancient city, close to the museum, next to the Huangbinhong Memorial Hall, a few steps away is the Xu Guoda archway, Huizhou ancient mansion, dragon and phoenix stinky carp, the outside of the room is an antique Huizhou building mansion, inside is modern decoration. The landlord is a gentle woman, sitting on a tea table to make tea for the guests, talking about attractions, talking about tea, talking about the world, is a Cantonese who grew up in Beijing and is also a fellow. Haha. I drank several teas!
The order placed when I was about to arrive at the ancient city, I called to enthusiastically point out the parking lot, and sent someone out to park the car, pick up the luggage, and lead the way to the inn. When I arrived, I immediately served tea and snacks. I also intimately turned on the room heating.
We have a few tables facing the street where we can sit and chat, drink tea, take pictures...
Also gave the Jixian tourism map. That's great.
The first floor of the room, just don't want to climb the stairs.
The only drawback is that because of the original building, the room door cannot be changed. The floor upstairs should be wooden floor. The sound insulation is a little bit worse. When the night is quiet, the sound of walking upstairs can be heard.
Overall good.
I also sent a bag of tea when I left.

AAnonymous UserWhat a beautiful village and a lovely place to stay. The hosts were so kind, welcoming and open, we felt at home immediately. The little house was very well decorated, clean and with a homey feeling whilst maintaining the original charm of the village buildings. We did some great walks around the village and surrounding hills, ate tasty food, drank good coffee and enjoyed every moment, even the pitter patter sound of the rain on the roof. We’ll be back!

MMeriWe had a lovely stay at the hotel. Our room had the most amazing view overlooking the rice fields. The room was clean and bright and had everything one needs for a peaceful stay. Well maybe not everything, it seemed the walls and doors were too thin, so if the other guests are loud, then you will hear everything. But everything is really cute and creative in the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well.
They have a rooftop restaurant, where you can have breakfast and other meals or just chill with coffee or local tea and enjoy the fresh air and the view. The breakfast is typical chinese, so do not expect croissants or sausages and beans or cereals. We had lunches and dinners there too, the food is really good, they cook it like they’d cook for their family.
Excellent location for hikes and walks along the rice fields and hills and around the village.

GGuest UserThe most satisfying accommodation during this National Day trip. First of all, I really like Huizhou Mansion. After all, it was once the seat of Huizhou Mansion for thousands of years. It is full of quaint charm, just like a magnificent historical museum. The key point is that it does not charge admission fees. Compared with the grand hotel Cunxi Express is not very cost-effective. Then Huizhou B&B in September was the icing on the cake. There were not many people staying that day and the store manager moved me to the third floor. There is a rooftop garden at the door and next to the room. I can have a drink during the Mid-Autumn Festival and admire the moon. It couldn't be more wonderful! Finally, I would like to praise the beautiful and elegant proprietress. The layout of the hotel is very humanistic, the two cats are super cute, and Jiu Xiaoman’s food is super delicious. Well, I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

MMarius ZThe hotel is in a good location, it's easy to reach the old town and other places of interest. I booked the cheapest room for a very good price and it also included breakfast for 2 people. I was surprised to see that breakfast was really good considering the price I paid for the stay (I had fried bacon, eggs, coffee, some fried vegetables and rice). However, as I booked the cheapest room I got a terrible window view (basically a view to a messy balcony full of trash and cables). Also, the walls seemed to be very thin as I could hear neighbors talking, using hair drier, etc. Also, seems they had some issue with electricity at one point - as the lights went out but it was restored in 10 mins. Not sure if it was only my room or all hotel is like that. Apart from this, it looked like a pretty decent hotel for such a low price.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel facilities are a bit old, they are very complete, the room is spacious, there is a balcony to see the river, the scenery is beautiful, the breakfast is OK, the service is generally good, after checking out, I found the leftover items, the waiter who answered the phone warmly helped, especially thank her, but the front desk attitude at check-in was a bit cold, Love to ignore, remind me of this kindness.
